Synopsis
The plot centers upon the coming of age and misadventures of three white youths from the small town of Holyoke, Iowa who, having been seduced by the fast money and easy women of the gangsta rap lifestyle, yearn to be African American. The trio of would-be hoodlums ventures to Cabrini–Green housing project in Chicago, Illinois, where they have crossovers with gangstas and the police in the climactic finale, the irrepressible leader of the white hoodlums is beaten up and they went back to Iowa and decided to stay there.Actors

In Brooklyn's Crown Heights, where West Indian Rastafarians and other Blacks live next door to the Jewish Chabad community, ethnic tensions are high. After a minor car crash, the headstrong Judah and other Jewish men who patrol the neighborhood as vigilantes confront Scratch, a mouthy African-American hustler. Passengers in the cars make eye contact: Sol, a hip-hop musician, songwriter, and artist (Scratch's friend), and Sara, who is betrothed to Judah but wants to go to college and be on her own. Over the next few days, while Scratch and Judah's conflict escalates in violence, Sara and Sol connect in ways that echo Sheba and Solomon.

Sean (Dre) and Dee Loc (Dogg) are roommates who have not yet paid their rent. To make matters worse, Sean has just lost his job at Foot Locker due to Dee Loc's interference, so Dee Loc suggests that his roommate stop by the same car wash where he works. Francesca "Frankie" Sutton is a Los Angeles bank teller who witnesses a robbery. Shortly after the incident, the bank fires Frankie after the police uncover a connection between her and Darnell, one of the three robbers; despite the fact that Frankie knew nothing of the robbery Darnell had planned. Later, Frankie reunites with her three best friends, Lida "Stoney" Newsome, Cleopatra "Cleo" Sims, and Tisean "T.T." Williams in the projects and is furious because she was fired. Cleo states they should rob a bank themselves to collect all of the money and get out of the projects while being able to have what they want. Frankie agrees, while the other two friends aren't following along with what they are saying. Eventually, Frankie decides to work at a janitorial company with her friends even though they are treated with no respect from their boss, Luther, and receive little pay.
