Who Killed Vincent Chin? is a 1987 American documentary film directed by Christine Choy and Renee Tajima-Peña that recounts the murder of Vincent Chin. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
Synopsis
On a summer night in Detroit, two white unemployed autoworkers fatally beat Vincent Chin, a 27-year-old Chinese engineer, with a baseball bat. The film tracks the incident from the initial eye-witness accounts through the trial and its repercussions for the families involved, and the American justice system at large. After an outcry from the Asian American community led by Vincent's mother Lily Chin, the case becomes a civil rights Supreme Court case. The case ends with tried killer Ronald Ebens let go with a suspended sentence and a small fee.Comments

The film focuses on the descendants of the DeWolf family, a prominent slave trading family from Rhode Island from 1769 to 1820, and the legacy of the slave trade in the North of the United States. The film follows ten family members as they retrace the triangle trade starting at Linden Place in Bristol, Rhode Island, the hometown of the DeWolfs. The family has been prominent in local businesses and banking, as academics, in the local Episcopal and other institutions, and organizing the Bristol Fourth of July Parade. The film goes with the family to Ghana, where the slaves were purchased and where they meet with current residents, and to Cuba, where James DeWolf owned three sugar and coffee plantations in the 19th century.

Night and Fog is a documentary that alternates between past and present and features both black-and-white and color footage. The first part of Night and Fog shows remnants of Auschwitz while the narrator Michel Bouquet describes the rise of Nazi ideology. The film continues with comparisons of the life of the Schutzstaffel to the starving prisoners in the camps. Bouquet then addresses the sadism inflicted upon the doomed inmates, including torture, scientific and medical "experiments", executions, and prostitution. The next section is shown completely in black-and-white, and depicts images of gas chambers and piles of bodies. The final topic of the film depicts the liberation of the country, the discovery of the horror of the camps, and the questioning of who was responsible for them.

Vann Nath and Chum Mey, two survivors of the Khmer Rouge's Tuol Sleng Prison, are reunited and revisit the former prison, now a museum in Phnom Penh. They meet their former captors – guards, interrogators, a doctor and a photographer – many of whom were barely teenagers during the Khmer Rouge era from 1975 to 1979. Les Stalags sont des livres de poche dont les intrigues tournent autour de vigoureuses femmes officier SS qui abusent des prisonniers. Au cours des années 1960, parallèlement au procès contre le criminel de guerre nazi Adolf Eichmannl, les ventes de cette littérature pornographique ont battu tous les records en Israël et des centaines de milliers d’exemplaires ont été vendus dans les kiosques. La popularité des Stalags a faibli seulement après le procès contre leurs auteurs qui ont été accusés de distribution pornographique antisémite. Ce film traite de ce phénomène, et confirme aussi que la combinaison de pornographie et Holocauste apparaît également dans la littérature canonique sur l’Holocauste et qui continue jusqu’à présent à faire partie de la représentation de l’Holocauste en Israël.
