Synopsis
Mika, une adolescente qui n'est jamais montée à cheval, est punie par ses parents et doit aller passer ses vacances chez sa grand mère. Là-bas, elle fait la rencontre d'un étalon noir nommé Whisper. Promis à l'abattoir, l'animal réputé indomptable se laisse progressivement apprivoiser. Mika va devoir remporter un prestigieux tournoi d'équitation pour sauver son compagnon.Actors

Mika passe ses vacances d'été au haras de Kaltenbach chez sa grand-mère. Il est proche de la faillite à cause de la concurrence d'un autre centre équestre : L'installation moderne menace d'attirer progressivement tous les apprentis cavaliers. Sa participation à un tournoi pourrait sauver le haras. Et ainsi elle commence à s'entraîner avec son cheval Whisper pour participer à une compétition. Ce n'est qu'avec une victoire qu'elle peut éviter la banqueroute. Au cours des préparatifs du tournoi, Whisper et Mika découvrent leur intérêt pour le sexe opposé. Pour l'étalon c'est une jument grise fugitive, pour Mika le jeune Milan, qui aide Mika à l'entraînement, après l'avoir aidé à ramener la jument grise.

Vivian (Agnes Bruckner) is a nineteen-year-old werewolf born in Bucharest, Romania to American parents who then moved back to America. During a thunderstorm, a traveling circus accidentally leaves behind a baby zebra. The foal is rescued by widower Nolan Walsh, a former Thoroughbred-racehorse trainer who retired when his wife, a jockey, died in a racing accident. Nolan takes the zebra home to his farm and leaves it under the care of his daughter Channing "Chan" Walsh, who names him "Stripes". Stripes befriends the other farmyard animals, including Saanen goat Franny and Shetland pony Tucker. One day, he becomes convinced that he is destined for the nearby racetrack, the Kentucky Open, after watching a race, not realizing that he is a zebra and is not qualified to race.
