Synopsis
Une femme autour de la cinquantaine mène un combat solitaire contre la multinationale de l'aluminium Rio Tinto qui tente d'étendre son implantation en Islande. Mais alors qu'elle prépare de nouveaux sabotages de lignes électriques, elle apprend qu'une demande d'adoption déposée depuis longtemps a abouti et qu'elle va devenir mère d'une jeune orpheline ukrainienne.Actors

In 1943 two Belarusian boys are digging in a sand field looking for abandoned rifles in order to join the Soviet partisan forces. Yustin, an old man, warns them not to dig (using sarcasm and reverse psychology). One of the boys, Flyora (Aleksei Kravchenko), finds an SVT-40 rifle. A poison-gas attack on a Kolkata Metro Rail compartment kills the passengers on board. Two years later Vidya Bagchi (Vidya Balan), a pregnant software engineer, arrives in Kolkata from London during the Durga Puja festivities in search of her missing husband, Arnab Bagchi. A police officer, Satyoki "Rana" Sinha (Parambrata Chatterjee), offers to help.
