Yasoda Krishna (Telugu: యశోదకృష్ణ) is a 1975 Telugu film directed by C. S. Rao. Baby Sridevi acted as Bala Krishna and Ramakrisha as Lord Krishna, Jamuna as Yasoda and S. V. Ranga Rao as Kamsa.

The plot is set up in the late 16th Century revolves around two friends - Puttan Sethupathi and Veerabhupathi. Sethupathi hailing from a royal family falls in love with Meenakshi, an ordinary girl, while Veerabhupathi loves Ekaveera, a young lady from the royal clan in Amba Samudram. The plot is narrated by story teller for the benefit of the devotees. It begins with Goddess Parvathi Devi making a mud sculpture of a child in human form and breathing life into it. She makes this child her guard when she goes for bath. She orders him not to let anyone in. When Lord Shiva tries to enter, this child stops him and invites Shiva's anger. Shiva beheads him. Later, knowing from Parvati that the child is his son, he brings the child back to life but with an elephant head (Shiva had once granted this boon to a Rakshasa who became his devotee). They name him Gajanana (In Sanskrit, Gaja = Elephant, Anana = Face) and make him the lord of the Ganas. During a court function, Chandra (Moon god) laughs at him and gets cursed that no one shall see his face on Vinayaka Chavithi. Should anyone happen to see, he/she shall face ignominy brought on by false rumour.

The story is about a less privileged woman (P. Santha Kumari) left with two daughters. She loses one girl (‘Baby’ Chandrakumari, later Padmini) who is found by a wealthy man (D. Balasubramaniam). He changes her name to Kanmani and brings her up in luxury. She becomes proud. The struggling mother sends the other girl Ponni (‘Baby’ Asha, later Lalitha) to work in Kanmani’s house. Kanmani ill treats her and once pushes her down the staircase, which injures Ponni badly, and she lands in hospital. The rich man has an adopted son Sundaram (Kaushik). His brother, a never-do-well (Sriram), misbehaves with both Ponni and Kanmani. In the process, Ponni tries to save her sister, and lands in prison, accused of murder! However, the truth comes out and they all live happily thereafter.
