It was selected to be screened as part of the Directors' Fortnight section of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The film had a limited release (in Montreal) on 22 August 2014, followed by a general Quebec theatrical release on 29 August 2014. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.
The film was included in the list of "Canada's Top Ten" feature films of 2014, selected by a panel of filmmakers and industry professionals organized by TIFF.
The film stars Julianne Côté as Nicole, a young woman who is becoming increasingly disillusioned with her quiet small-town life over the course of a summer.
Synopsis
Profitant de la maison familiale en l’absence de ses parents, Nicole passe paisiblement l'été de ses 22 ans en compagnie de sa meilleure amie Véronique. Alors que leurs vacances s’annoncent sans surprise, le frère aîné de Nicole débarque avec son groupe de musique pour enregistrer un album. Leur présence envahissante vient rapidement ébranler la relation entre les deux amies. L'été prend alors une autre tournure, marqué par la canicule, l'insomnie grandissante de Nicole. Tu dors Nicole observe avec humour le début de l’âge adulte et son lot de possibles.Actors

During a glorious Southern California summer, high school student Benny King (Hopkins) is doing time flipping burgers.
