Aaron Michael Metchik (born April 22, 1980), also credited as Aaron Metchik, is an American actor, writer, and director, known for his role as Steven Floyd Torkelson on The Torkelsons.
Metchick attended Shell Beach Elementary School and Judkins Middle School in Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande High School in Arroyo Grande, California. His brother is actor Asher Metchik. His mother, Robyn Metchik, connected Zac Efron with a talent agent effectively launching Efron's career.

Biography
Metchik's acting debut was as Steven Floyd Torkelson from 1991-1992 on the Oklahoma-set series The Torkelsons. When the show was spun off into Almost Home the next year, two of the five children were inexplicably written off the show, including Metchik's character. Since then, Metchik has had several guest-starring roles on television, as well as various roles in movies, his largest role being that of Alan Gray in the 1995 movie The Baby-Sitters Club, the adaptation of the popular novel series. He has also had various voice roles, including a recurring role of Jack Pumpkinhead in several straight-to-video "Land of Oz" films, and that of Ithicles in the 1997 Disney movie Hercules. In 1999, Metchik made his directorial debut with the short film Jenny, which won the 2000 Reel Frontier Award for Best Long Short Take. After imprisoning the Titans beneath the ocean, the Greek gods gather to Mount Olympus for Zeus, and his wife Hera have a son named Hercules. While the other gods are joyful, Zeus' jealous brother Hades plots to overthrow Zeus and rule Mount Olympus. Turning to the Fates for help, Hades learns that in eighteen years, a planetary alignment will allow Hades to locate and free the Titans to conquer Olympus, but only if Hercules does not interfere. Hades sends his minions Pain and Panic to dispose of Hercules. The two succeed at kidnapping and feeding him a formula that turns him mortal, but fail to remove his superhuman strength before Hercules is found and adopted by the farmers Amphitryon and Alcmene.

Freddie (Cameron Diaz) is a former stripper marrying Sam (Vincent D'Onofrio) to repay a debt owed to nightclub owner Red (Delroy Lindo). When Freddie meets Jjaks (Keanu Reeves), Sam's brother, they instantly fall in love. Jjaks and Freddie decide to run off together, eventually staying in a motel. After realizing that they don't have any money, Freddie and Jjaks decide to go back and steal some of Sam's money. Sam catches Jjaks in the act and they have a fight. After escaping, Jjaks returns to the motel, unaware that Sam has been following him. After Jjaks passes out due to the fight, Sam ends up shooting Freddie in the stomach in Jjak's car, and tries to frame the killing on Jjaks by returning Freddie's body to the motel room along with the murder weapon.

Elizabeth, Jeremy, and Harry Martin are three children who have had up to the edge with their mother, a nagging workaholic. Soon, they meet a mysterious gardener named Mrs. Cavour, who tells them of an ancient spell that will make her disappear. After saying the incantation one night, the next morning, she has disappeared along with their memories of her. Mrs. Cavour tells them of a place in town called the Mommy Market, where they have about every kind of mother one can think of. It has a policy, however, that one receives three tokens to take one of the mothers home, and if they do not find a suitable one by their third token, they can not return. Unfortunately for them, the mothers they pick: a snappy French woman, a nature-hiker, and a circus performer, do not sit well with them. Feeling lost without a guardian to look after them, they soon learn that their real mother has been sent to the Mommy Market herself, where she has been all along. In order to break the spell and see her return, they must remember something about her.
