Ali Mohammad Zafar better known as Ali Zafar (born 18 May 1980), is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, music producer, painter, actor and model. He started his career as a music composer. Ali gained popularity by his single Channo from his debut album Huqa Pani which sold over five million copies worldwide. Channo turned out to be a huge success topping many music charts.
Zafar made his acting career in 2010 with the Bollywood film Tere Bin Laden for which he was nominated for Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. In 2011, Zafar appeared in the films Luv Ka The End and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan which lead to won him Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Male. He worked successfully in Bollywood films London, Paris, New York (2012), Chashme Baddoor (2013) and Total Siyapaa (2014).
Zafar has also won three Lux Style Awards, three Indus Music Awards and three MTV Style Awards. In 2012, he was awarded by Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards in India. Zafar was also voted as the "Sexiest Asian Man on the Planet" based on a worldwide poll by the British newspaper Eastern Eye in 2013.

Biography
Zafar married his long-time fiancee Ayesha Fazli who is also distant relative of Indian actor Aamir Khan on 28 July 2009 in Lahore, Pakistan. On 6 March 2010, his first child was born. He named the baby boy Azaan Zafar. On 23 February 2015, Alyza Zafar, his second child was born in Lahore. The baby girl was named Alyza Zafar, suggested by Azaan Zafar.Best films

Seema (Taapsee Pannu) is a young girl who lives in Mumbai with her father (Anupam Kher). He, being an active military officer, wants Seema to marry a similar man. He had arranged Seema's marriage to such people five times in a row, with Seema evading all five arrangements. Her father had now arranged her marriage for the sixth time, which Seema evades again and escapes to Goa to live with her uncle, her father's younger brother (Anupam Kher), in a double role. Siddharth Kashyap (Ali Zafar), Jai (Siddharth) and Omi (Divyendu Sharma) are three friends who live in a rented apartment. Miss Josephine (Lilette Dubey) is their landlady. All the three are frequent visitors to a café owned by Joseph Furtado (Rishi Kapoor). The three owe huge amounts of money to Joseph and Josephine. One day, Omi spots Seema taking a walk with her dog Aryabhatta. Attracted to her, he calls his friend Jai. Both of them try to impress her. One after the other, they break into Seema's house. Omi tries to impress Seema with his poetry. Meanwhile, Seema mistakes him for a dog trainer and takes him straight into her bedroom. Omi assumes Seema is interested him and starts browsing her bedroom while Seema prepares her dog [name of Dog is "Aryabhata" given in movie by writer] Unable to handle the dog, Omi runs back home, where he tells everyone a completely different story. Ali Hassan (Ali Zafar) is a reporter with Danka TV, a downmarket local TV channel in Karachi, Pakistan. He is keen to migrate to the US for a better life and wants to work for an American news channel. He gets a chance to fly to the US, but ruins it on board while filming his own audition. He recites the words "Hijack" and "Bomb" too many times; thus scaring his fellow passengers and flight crew. As soon as he reaches the USA, he is deported. Furthermore, because of this incident his visa application is rejected six times in seven years. While covering a local event for his channel, he comes across an Osama Bin Laden look-alike, Noora (Pradhuman Singh), and hits upon an idea to make a fake Osama tape. He manages to convince his assistant Gul (Nikhil Ratnaparkhi) about the merits of his plan. With help from his travel agent's assistant Zoya (Sugandha Garg) and a local radio jockey Qureshi (Rahul Singh), he is able to make the tape by tricking Noora into unknowingly posing as Bin Laden. He then sells the tape to the owner of his channel, hoping to raise money for a new false identity, a new passport and a renewed attempt at getting the elusive US visa. However, the gravity of their action strikes them when the US Government takes the tape seriously and gets involved, as do the Pakistani intelligence agencies. Noora, too, comes to know about the trick played upon him and goes into hiding in his house.

New York begins in the United States in 2008, with the arrest by the FBI of Omar Aijaz (Neil Nitin Mukesh) after guns were found in the trunk of a taxi cab he owned. Omar, a young Muslim man originally from Delhi, is then taken into custody and interrogated by FBI Agent Roshan (Irrfan Khan) (also a Muslim man originally from South Asia who has been living in the United States for twenty years).
