Biography
Après une licence de littérature à l'Université Aristote de Thessalonique, un MA à la Tisch School of the Arts de New York, elle obtient un diplôme de réalisation de l'Université du Texas à Austin. Son court métrage Fit fut sélectionné pour les Student Academy Awards de 1995. Elle vécut à Austin de 1994 à 2001. C'est là qu'elle réalisa son premier film Slobiz. Elle y fonda en 1999 le festival Cinematexas International Short Film Festival. En 2005, elle fonda sa propre maison de production Haos Film.Best films

Nine years have passed since Before Sunset. Jesse and Céline have become a couple and parents to twin girls. Slacker is a uniquely structured and seemingly plotless film, following a single day in the life of an ensemble of mostly under-40 bohemians and misfits in Austin, Texas. The film follows various characters and scenes, never staying with one character or conversation for more than a few minutes before picking up someone else in the scene and following them. The characters include Linklater as a talkative taxi passenger, a UFO buff who insists the U.S. has been on the moon since the 1950s, a JFK conspiracy theorist, an elderly anarchist who befriends a man trying to rob his house, a serial television set collector, and a hipster woman trying to sell a Madonna pap smear. The woman selling the pap smear appears on the film poster, and was played by Butthole Surfers drummer Teresa Taylor. Most of the characters grapple with feelings of social exclusion or political marginalization, which are recurring themes in their conversations. They discuss social class, terrorism, joblessness, and government control of the media.

Quatre personnes (une infirmière, un conducteur d'ambulance, une gymnaste et son entraîneur) ont créé une sorte de troupe d'acteurs qu'ils ont appelé Alps par ironie car selon eux, aucune montagne ne peut réellement se substituer à une autre montagne. Ils jouent les rôles de personnes décédées dans la vie de tous les jours des proches des disparus afin de leur permettre peu à peu d'accepter leur perte et de faire leur deuil. Les quatre premières séances sont gratuites. La « troupe » dirigée d'une main de fer par le conducteur d'ambulances, dont le nom de code est « Mont-Blanc » n'accepte pas tous les rôles. En effet, les recherches pour incarner les disparus sont très poussées afin de rendre le moindre détail crédible. Cependant, la « troupe » travaille dans la plus complète illégalité.

A married couple and their three young adult children, a son and two daughters, live in a large compound with a garden and swimming pool. A tall fence surrounds the property and the children have never been on the other side of it, for their parents have kept them unaware of the outside world, even of the existence of the telephone. They are taught different meanings for everyday words. The parents promise that each child will be ready to venture outside the compound once she or he has lost a dogtooth. Although the children are told they have a brother just on the other side of the barrier, he never appears.
