Ben Loyd-Holmes (born 28 April 1981) is a British actor who played Private Mcintosh in Band Of Brothers.

Growing up with family in the acting business meant that Loyd-Holmes was on set from a very young age. His father is a director. Loyd-Holmes drew from his father's experience as well as from other actors he admired, to support his training and development.

Since 2006 Loyd-Holmes has been acting full time. He has worked on several projects, including parts in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Love Actually Gladiator and Skyfall.

In 2008 Loyd-Holmes began writing and producing, first with the television series Black Book which was followed by his first feature film, The Hike which premiered in Leicester Square on went on general release for Halloween 2011. He was nominated at the Film Guild Awards for Best Actor for his role as Ethan in The Hike.

Loyd-Holmes produced the film Art House Massacre which won Best Feature Film at the Film Guild, British Horror Festival in 2012.

In Istanbul the MI6 agents James Bond and Eve chase a mercenary, Patrice, who has stolen a computer hard drive containing details of undercover agents placed in terrorist organisations by NATO states. Patrice wounds Bond in the shoulder and, as the two men fight atop a train, M, the head of MI6, orders Eve to fire a distant shot with a rifle at Patrice; Eve misses and inadvertently shoots Bond, allowing Patrice to escape.
