Brina Michelle Palencia (born February 13, 1984) is an American actress, voice actress, ADR director, and singer primarily known for her work for Funimation/OkraTron 5000 and Bang Zoom! Entertainment. She has provided numerous voices for Japanese anime series, and video games.
Palencia eventually settled in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 2002. While studying at the University of North Texas (UNT), she was influenced by the anime series Dragon Ball Z. After graduating from UNT with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2006, the then-22-year-old Palencia began her career as a voice actress for Funimation. Palencia was also a director, but eventually decided to become a full-time actress.
Apart from her adult female voices, Palencia has been cast in younger male and female roles as well. Her brother Gino also works at Funimation as an ADR engineer and production assistant. She was formerly one of the hosts of GameStop TV and can be seen in several independent films.

Palencia was born in Oklahoma. As a child, Palencia lived in Honduras until she was 4. Throughout her childhood she went back and forth between La Ceiba, Honduras and Owasso, Oklahoma. Her brother, Gino Palencia, works at Funimation as an ADR engineer and production assistant.Palencia eventually settled in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 2002. Jacob (Gabriel Horn), his brother Kai (RJ Hanson), and their friend Derrick (Samrat Chakrabarti) have decided that the best way to celebrate Kai's birthday is to go to a strip club. Kai ends up taking a liking to one of the strippers, Ginger (Belladonna), and they decide to follow her home. Upon discovering them, Ginger decides to invite them inside for some drinks. Kai and Ginger are sent into a closet to play seven minutes in heaven, which ends with Kai accidentally killing her. Before the boys can leave, Ginger's roommates return home, and after seeing Ginger, they decide that they will hunt and kill the three men. They soon find that Ginger's roommates are cannibals that are intent on turning the three of them into several meals.

Set in a different series of events, this story does not follow the previous Appleseed movie canon (despite being directed by the same director of the previous movies); it is an alternate story to their beginnings. Appleseed Alpha depicts the early days of Deunan Knute and Briareos in the 22nd century. Ami Hyūga is an average high school girl whose world comes crashing down when her brother Yu and his friend Takeshi Sugihara are killed by bullies, led by Sho Kimura. The Phantom Thief Kid sends a heist notice, warning of another heist. The police deduce that his next target is a recently discovered Fabergé egg, which Suzuki Modern Art Museum in Osaka will display on August 22. The night of the heist, Kid steals the egg and flies off, and Conan and Heiji give chase. However, in the middle of the chase, an unknown assailant shoots Kid in the right eye, and Kid apparently falls into the sea to his death.
