Bushra Ansari (Urdu: بشریٰ انصاری) is a Pakistani television presenter, comedian, singer, actor and playwright who started her career as a child performer in the 1960s. Ansari won numerous awards during her career including Pakistan's highest civilization award Pride of Performance in 1989.
Ansari's first dramatic acting role was in one of Iqbal Ansari's productions. She also appeared on PTV's most-watched shows, including Angan Terha, Show Time, Show Sha, Rang Tarang, Emergency Ward and the Saturday Night Live-styled sketch comedy TV series Fifty Fifty.

Ho Mann Jahaan is a coming of age urban story set in present day Karachi. The film revolves around three main characters – Arhan (Sheheryar Munawar), Manizeh (Mahira Khan) and Nadir (Adeel Husain). The story is about their friendship born out of shared experiences, passion for music and aspiration for fame. Sonya Jehan plays the role of Sabina, a powerful independent character symbolizing strength and wisdom. The film is also a reflection of the current dichotomy that exists in our society where we talk of free will but readily accept conformity. Parents impose restrictions and dictate terms, because they love their children but at times don't understand them. This is a film of many layers, connecting to both younger as well as the older generation.

While purchasing groceries in the market Yousuf's servant, Qadir (Akbar Subhani), overhears that a newborn baby (Hareem Qureshi) has been abandoned in the midst of piles of rubbish in the market. He is told that it would have been better to have just buried the baby, instead of leaving it there for the animals.
