Carmine Coppola (June 11, 1910 – April 26, 1991) was an American composer, flautist, editor, musical director, and songwriter who contributed original music to The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, The Godfather Part III, and Apocalypse Now, all directed by his son Francis Ford Coppola.
Coppola joue de la flûte et étudie à la Juilliard School puis à l'école de musique de Manhattan. Durant les années 1940, il travaille pour Arturo Toscanini à l'orchestre symphonique de la NBC. Il quitte l'orchestre en 1951 pour composer.

On the occasion of his daughter Connie's wedding, Vito Corleone hears requests in his role as the Godfather, the Don of a New York crime family. In 1965 Tulsa, Oklahoma, Greasers are a gang of tough, low-income working-class teens.
