Charlotte Leah Salt (born 12 August 1985) is an English actress.

Biography

Charlotte Salt was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, and attended Edenhurst Preparatory School, then St Dominic's Priory School in Stone, Staffordshire. Charlotte has one younger sister, Abbie (born 1989) also an actress.
She has appeared in Born and Bred in the UK and Entourage, CSI Season 6 Episode 13: Kiss-Kiss, Bye-Bye as Eve Girard, and Wildfire. Salt has also acted in several films including Beowulf alongside Angelina Jolie. She was previously seen in the third series of the UK show The Tudors in the recurring role of Lady Ursula Misseldon.

In 2010 she played the part of Lady Virginia Revel in ITV's adaptation of Agatha Christie's The Secret of Chimneys, part of the Marple series starring Julia McKenzie.

She starred in Sky's Bedlam as Kate Bettany working alongside Theo James.

In 2011 she appeared in an episode of BBC series Death in Paradise playing the part of murder victim Lisa Watson, this was series 1 episode 2.

In October 2011, she joined the regular cast of Casualty and played the part of Dr Sam Nicholls until the 14th December 2013, when she left the show along with partner, Oliver Coleman.

Charlotte is also the CD of Henri Le Worm, an app encouraging 2–10 year olds to get involved with healthier foods.

As of January 2014, Charlotte is currently filming in the USA for a new Horror 'The Hoarder' due to be released in 2015.

It has been announced that Charlotte will be joining series 2 of the BBC TV series The Musketeers which will be shown in 2015.

On the 31st of July 2014, Charlotte married former casualty co-star Oliver Coleman in Somerset.

Blood & Glory, also known as Modder En Bloed (Afrikaans) is a feature film currently in the post-production phase in South Africa set for release in the second quarter of 2016. The film, set during the Anglo-Boer War in 1901, tells the story of hope, strength, determination and the will to succeed that exists in all of us. Beowulf (Ray Winstone) is a legendary Geatish warrior who travels to Denmark with his band of soldiers, including his best friend, Wiglaf (Brendan Gleeson). They travel in response to the call of King Hrothgar (Anthony Hopkins), who needs a hero to slay a monster called Grendel (Crispin Glover), a hideously disfigured troll-like creature with superhuman strength. Studying under a disciple of Aleister Crowley, the leader of an upper class group invokes a supernatural force that slowly devours the village of Marienbad and its inhabitants, threatening to spread beyond its geographical limits.
