Axelle Carolyn (born 3 April 1979 in Brussels) is a Belgian actress, screenwriter, make-up artist, journalist and author.

Biography
Acting career
Carolyn won her first little role as partygoer in the 2005 Spanish thriller Beneath Still Waters. She played her first bigger role 2008 in her husband Neil Marshall's Doomsday and assisted the designer of the make-up effects. Carolyn earned in the same year a lead role in the Romance-Horror short film I Love You (written and directed by Tristan Versluis), starring Leslie Simpson and portrayed Jennifer in the Horrorshow. In 2009 she won roles of various sizes in A Reckoning, Red Light, Psychosis, Feral, Blood + Roses and had a cameo in a deleted scene in The Descent: Part 2. She had a small role as a Pict in Neil Marshall's Centurion and has a part in the British horror film The 4th Reich.
Screenwriting career
In February 2010 began to work on her screenwriting career debut the upcoming supernatural thriller film Ghost of Slaughterford.
Author career
In 2009 wrote her first novel It Lives Again! Horror Movies in the New Millennium and was financed by Neil Marshall. She won for this work the Silver Award in New York City on the Book of the Year Awards in June 2010.

She is married to British filmmaker Neil Marshall since 2007. They live in London.
