David Buckley (born in London on 7 June 1976) is a British film score composer.
Buckley is best known for working and still works extensively with composer Harry Gregson-Williams, including work on the famous videogame Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots.
Among Buckley's numerous solo projects are the films Blood Creek (2008, director: Joel Schumacher), The Forbidden Kingdom (2008, director: Rob Minkoff; the first film to feature both Jackie Chan and Jet Li), Tell-Tale (2009, director: Michael Cuesta), as well as From Paris with Love (2010, director: Pierre Morel; starring John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and the TV series The Good Wife. Buckley's recent projects include the Ben Affleck-directed The Town whose score was co-composed with Harry Gregson-Williams, and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Au début du film, l'agent du Secret Service Mike Banning combat violemment des soldats d'élite, dans un centre d'entraînement opéré par la société paramilitaire Salient Global, qui appartient à son ex-collègue des forces spéciales et ami Wade Jennings. Par ailleurs, Banning cache à son entourage qu'il souffre de migraines, d'insomnie et de maux de dos et consulte plusieurs médecins pour les traiter. Plus tard, il accompagne le Président des États-Unis, Alan Trumbull, à une partie de pêche sur une rivière. Sur le bateau de pêche, lorsque ses douleurs l'empêchent de poursuivre son travail, il demande à être remplacé par un collègue. Près de la rive, Banning aperçoit un essaim se diriger vers le site et comprend qu'il s'agit de drones. Les hommes sur place sont tués, sauf Banning et Trumbull.

The film opens with fast-talking businessman and diamond dealer Kyle Miller (Nicolas Cage) speaking to a client over the phone as he returns to his lavish mansion home, his wife Sarah (Nicole Kidman) and his teenage daughter Avery (Liana Liberato). In 1936, a German professor, Richard Wirth, is hosted by the Wollners, a family of German emigrants in West Virginia.
