David Watson (March 10, 1940 - October 5, 2014) was a British American actor of film, television and theatre.

After being born in Austin, Texas, Watson's parents moved to London, where they were brought up, and where Watson was then brought up.

On stage, Watson played many Shakespearean characters including that of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark in Hamlet, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Prospero in The Tempest and Macbeth in Macbeth.

After appearing on stage, Watson first moved onto television, appearing in episodes of TV shows such as Rawhide, Never Too Young, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., The Time Tunnel, Petticoat Junction, Rowan & Martin's Laugh In, The Legend of Robin Hood, Disneyland, Daniel Boone, Charlie's Angels, The Bionic Woman, Project U.F.O. and Good Guys Bad Guys.

He also appeared in the films Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Beyond the Next Mountain, Lucky Break and The Wannabes. He died of a heart attack in 2014.

Following the events of Planet of the Apes, time-displaced astronaut Taylor (Charlton Heston) and the mute Nova (Linda Harrison) are riding on horseback through the desert of the Forbidden Zone. All Steve (Kristopher Turner) wants is to make his incredibly controlling fiancee Tina (Crystal Lowe) happy, even if it's at his own personal expense. His best friend Craig (Shawn Roberts) and sister Sarah (Kristen Hager) accompany Steve to their family's cabin in the hopes of convincing him that she's not right for him, but with no success. When Steve is infected with a strange virus via a mosquito bite, he begins to turn into a zombie and hunger for brains. Despite this new turn of events, all Tina cares about is getting married and doesn't care that Steve is starting to miss various body parts. Now Steve must try to control his new urges while also trying to avoid a zombie hunter (Stephen McHattie) out to end his existence.
