Dominic Anthony "Dom" Sherwood (born 6 February 1990) is an English actor, model, and musician. He is known for his appearance as Christian Ozera in the adaptation of Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy. Sherwood will be playing Jace Wayland on the upcoming TV show Shadowhunters on Freeform, from the hit book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.
In mid-2008 he started a band named Tamarin Sky. With music composed by him and his friends, he performed in small stages before starting his career as an actor. As of February 2015, he has been dating Modern Family actress, Sarah Hyland.

The story features seventeen-year-old Dhampir (half-human, half-vampire) guardian-in-training Rose Hathaway (Zoey Deutch), and her royal Moroi (the peaceful, mortal vampires) best friend Lissa Dragomir (Lucy Fry) living discreetly within our world, having escaped from their boarding school St. Vladimir's Academy one year prior to the beginning of the story, following a series of warnings and threats.
