Edward Jack Peter "Ed" Westwick (born 27 June 1987) is an English actor, musician, and model. He is best known for his role as Chuck Bass on The CW's teen drama series Gossip Girl (2007–12). Westwick made his film debut in the romantic crime drama Breaking and Entering (2006).
He has since appeared in the comedy-drama Son of Rambow (2007), the sci-fi drama S. Darko (2009), the romantic comedy Chalet Girl (2011), the biopic J. Edgar (2011), the romantic drama Romeo and Juliet (2013), the action thriller Last Flight (2014), and the crime drama Bone in the Throat (2015). He stars as serial killer Kent Grainger on ABC's anthology series Wicked City.
He shared an apartment with his Gossip Girl co-star Chace Crawford in Chelsea, Manhattan from the beginning of the series in 2007 until July 2009, when Crawford moved out. Westwick moved to Los Angeles, California after Gossip Girl ended. Keen on football, Westwick is a Chelsea F.C. supporter. He is friends with footballer Charlie Henry.

Biography
Westwick fronted the British indie rock band The Filthy Youth, composed of himself, Ben Allingham, Jimmy Wright, Tom Bastiani, and John Voight. The band, formed in 2006, was inspired by the Rolling Stones, The Doors and Kings of Leon. The songs "Come Flash All You Ladies" and "Orange" were both featured in an episode of Gossip Girl.He shared an apartment with his Gossip Girl co-star Chace Crawford in Chelsea, Manhattan from the beginning of the series in 2007 until July 2009, when Crawford moved out. The film opens with J. Edgar Hoover in his office during his later years. He asks that a writer, known as Agent Smith, be let in, so that he may tell the story of the origin of the FBI for the sake of the public. Hoover explains that the story begins in 1919, when A. Mitchell Palmer was Attorney General and Hoover's boss at the Justice Department. Palmer suffers an assassination attempt, but is unharmed when the bomb explodes earlier than intended. Hoover recalls that the police handling of the crime scene was primitive, and that it was that night that he recognized the importance of criminal science. Later, Hoover visits his mother, Anna Marie, and tells her that Palmer has put him in charge of a new anti-radical division, and that he has already begun compiling a list of suspected radicals. He leaves to meet Helen Gandy, who has just started as a secretary at the Justice Department. Hoover takes Gandy to the Library of Congress, and shows her the card catalog system he devised. He muses about how easy it would be to solve crimes if every citizen were as easily identifiable as the books in the library. When Hoover attempts to kiss her, she recoils. Hoover gets down on his knees and asks her to marry him, citing her organization and education, but his request is once again denied. However, Gandy agrees to become his personal secretary.

Will (Bill Milner) is quiet and shy, and comes from a family that belongs to the strict Plymouth Brethren church. Will Francis (Jude Law), a young Englishman, is a landscape architect living a detached, routine-based life in London with his Swedish-American girlfriend Liv (Robin Wright Penn) and her autistic daughter Bea. He and Liv start relationship counselling, but their drifting apart continues.
