Henry Enrique "Erik" Estrada (born March 16, 1949) is an American actor, voice actor, and police officer known for his co-starring lead role in the police drama television series CHiPs, which ran from 1977 to 1983. He later became known for his work in Spanish-language telenovelas, and in more recent years, his appearances in reality television shows and infomercials and as a regular voice on the Adult Swim series Sealab 2021.
In 1997, Estrada married film sound technician Nanette Mirkovich. They have one daughter, Francesca Natalia (born 2000), an aspiring actress.
As of 2009, Estrada was a full-time deputy sheriff in Bedford County, Virginia.
Estrada endorsed Republican John McCain in the 2008 United States Presidential election.

Estrada was married to Peggy Lynn Rowe, an entertainment executive, songwriter, and producer from 1985 until 1990, when they divorced. The couple had two sons, Anthony Erik Estrada (born 1986), and pole-vaulter Brandon Michael-paul Estrada (born 1987).In 1997, Estrada married film sound technician Nanette Mirkovich. They have one daughter, Francesca Natalia (born 2000), an aspiring actress.
As of 2009, Estrada was a full-time deputy sheriff in Bedford County, Virginia.

Since winning the Wings Around the Globe race in the first film, Dusty Crophopper has a successful career as a racer. Unfortunately, his engine's gearbox becomes damaged due to being regularly forced over its limits. With that particular model of gearbox now out of production and none available anywhere, Dusty's mechanic Dottie fits a warning light to his control panel to ensure he doesn't damage his gearbox any further. No longer able to race and faced with the possibility of returning to his old job as a crop-duster, Dusty goes on a defiant flight and tests his limits. In doing so, Dusty exceeds his limits and makes a forced landing at Propwash Junction airport, causing a fire.

A genetics laboratory run by Dr. Irwin Burns (Joseph Ruskin) to research aggressive behavior has an accident, resulting in a chemical fire and explosion, and the escape of a thirty foot long hybrid snake with traits of both the Asian King Cobra (in the film, it is referred to as the African King Cobra, even though the King Cobra species doesn't inhabit the African Subcontinent) and the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. Loose in the countryside and filled with the experimental aggressiveness drug, the snake, nicknamed "Seth", eventually outgrows his woodland prey, it begins hunting the residents of the small brewery town of Filmore.

CHiPs was a lightweight action crime drama, which included elements of light comedy in every episode. Over-the-top freeway pileups, which occurred in almost every episode were a signature of the show. There was little if any actual violence on CHiPs and the show can be classified as a light drama. The episodes filled a standard hour-long time slot, which at the time required 48 minutes of actual programming. For filming, traffic on Los Angeles freeways was non-existent and most chase scenes were done on back roads, usually dirt roads.

In Los Angeles, Billie York (an uncredited Whoopi Goldberg) is murdered by a man dressed as a Wilderness Girl because she possesses a microfilm with the recipe to turn cocaine into Wilderness Girls cookies and she won't hand it over to the ones that seek it. Her former partner, Wes Luger (Samuel L. Jackson), takes the case in an attempt to avenge her death. As part of the terms for letting Luger taking the case, psychotic burned-out narcotics agent Jack Colt (Emilio Estevez) is assigned to the case with Luger. Under the advice of their captain (Frank McRae), they meet Dr. Harold Leacher (F. Murray Abraham) who informs Jack that the case has something to do with General Mortars (William Shatner) under whom Jack had worked during his days in Vietnam. Following Leacher's advice they pursue the villains, however, before the villains are apprehended, Luger must journey into his past to realize the right thing to do.
