Mars Callahan (born 1971) is an American actor, film director, producer and writer.

He is perhaps best known for the film Poolhall Junkies where he served as director, actor and screenwriter.

At the age of eleven, Callahan toured with a children's musical group through thirty-seven states. At fifteen he received his first acting role in the television series The Wonder Years. After honing his acting skills in television he tried for the big screen and soon appeared in various films. Inspired by the directors he worked with Callahan decided to try working behind the camera and in 1998 shot his first short film The Red Bag.

In a 2007 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Callahan revealed that he has had serious health problems when doctors found a tumor in his right kidney. He lost his right kidney, his right adrenal gland and has been in and out of a wheelchair for years.

Callahan cashed in 94th place in the 2011 World Series of Poker main event, earning $64,531.

In 1964, Guy Patterson (Tom Everett Scott) is an aspiring jazz drummer who works at his family's Erie, Pennsylvania, appliance store. Jimmy's girlfriend, Faye Dolan (Liv Tyler), is inspired by Guy's reaction to the song (he exclaims, "Wonderful!") and names the group "The Oneders" (pronounced "Wonders"); a running gag has various people mispronouncing it as "Oh-need-ers".

Charlie Sykes and Rachel Clark are a young all-American couple that decide to run away and elope in Las Vegas. On the road to Vegas, they ignore the warning of a local gas station attendant named Sam. They take an abandoned backroad where Rachel is kidnapped by a zombie Hell Cop who takes her to hell. Charlie goes back to Sam, and Sam explains what the Hellcop is and how to save her. Sam then gives Charlie a shotgun with special ammo and a car that holds a special attribute. On the highway, Charlie meets other dead people that live in Hell and even a motorcycle gang. On the road, he meets a mechanic named Beezle, with his young apprentice. Beezle gives him tips on how to save his girlfriend and even brings him back to life. After Charlie rescues Rachel, Beezle reveals himself to be Satan and proposes a deal to let them, and his apprentice, go free if they can defeat the Hell Cop in a race to the portal that connects Earth and the backroads of Hell.
