Frederik Fuglsang (1887–1953) was a Danish cinematographer who worked largely in the German film industry. Fuglsang was employed by Nordisk Film, who initially brought him to Germany. He worked frequently during the Weimar era on films such as Vanina (1922) and Frederic Zelnik's The Weavers. (1927). He was married to the actress Käte Fuglsang.

Mère d'un petit garçon, Jackie, Véra Latour demande à son mari, Pierre un aviateur célèbre, de ne plus se livrer à des acrobaties où il risquerait la mort par plaisir. Pierre y consent à contrecœur et c'est son ami Bob Deschamps qui remporte un trophée au cours d'un meeting. Or, Véra, qui n'a jamais voulu connaître le baptême de l'air avec son mari, se laisse emmener en avion par Bob. Pierre l'apprend, il part aussitôt avec son fidèle mécanicien Robert Nourry, pour un raid de longue durée au-dessus de l'Atlantique. Après des heures d'angoisse, Véra apprend que son mari a réussi à atteindre New-York. À son retour, elle l'accueille en vainqueur.

Un homme est abattu par un inconnu lors d'une représentation de gala dans un théâtre. Il se trouve que des crimes similaires se produisent à travers l'Europe et que l'auteur de ces lettres semble être à Londres. L'inspecteur Parr est chargé de clarifier l'affaire. Pendant ce temps, Mr. Birdmore, qui a également reçu des lettres de menaces du Cercle rouge, est protégé par le détective privé Derrick Yale.
