Hans Adalbert Schlettow (1887–1945) was a German film actor. He was a member of the Militant League for German Culture and the National Socialist Factory Cell Organization. Schlettow died in the Battle of Berlin.

Biography

Il commence sa carrière sous son vrai nom comme figurant volontaire au Schauspiel Frankfurt. De 1915 à 1919, il est engagé au Nationaltheater Mannheim. En 1920, il est pris au Phantastischen Theater à Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Sous le nom de Schlettow ou de von Schlettow, il joue de 1917 à 1945 dans près de 150 films. D'abord beau garçon, il devient peu à peu un homme sombre. Lors du cinéma parlant, il conserve des premiers rôles puis joue de plus en plus les seconds rôles.

Bien avant l'arrivée au pouvoir du nazisme en 1933, Hans Adalbert Schlettow appartient au Kampfbund für deutsche Kultur et à la Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation. Il est un dénonciateur de ses collègues. Joseph Goebbels l'inscrit en août 1944 dans la Gottbegnadeten-Liste. Schlettow meurt lors de la bataille de Berlin.

During the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin the young Inge Wagner and Luftwaffe Fliegerleutnant (Flight Lieutenant) Herbert Koch meet, and within a few days fall in love. They make plans for their joint future, but before they can get married Herbert is seconded to the Condor Legion and ordered to the Spanish Civil War; he is forced to leave immediately without giving Inge any explanation. The mission is top secret and all contact with home is forbidden, including by letter, and he is unable to contact her with an explanation. When after several months the operation is over, and Herbert is recovering from a severe injury, he is at last able to write to Inge, but she has moved in the meantime and he is unable to trace her.

Dans les Alpes du Tyrol vers 1840. Wally, Heidemarie Hatheyer, une jeune montagnarde, est la fille unique d'Aloïs Fender, Edouard Köck, un riche veuf, agriculteur dans la vallée d'Ötztal. Il la tourne en ridicule en l'appelant "La fille au vautour" car il pense qu'une jeune fille ne peut porter des pantalons et grimper dans les montagnes alentour.
