Gianfranco Baldanello (November 13, 1928 - ) is an Italian film director, screenwriter and second unit director. He sometimes used the alias Frank G. Carroll.
Baldanello is the son of actors Emilio Baldanello and Vanda Vianello (also known as Vanda Baldanello). In 1965 Baldanello directed his first film, 30 Winchester per El Diablo (also known as Gold Train), a western for which he also wrote the screenplay. He followed this in 1966 with a second Western, Kill Johnny Ringo.
In 1967 he directed three movies, the comedy I Do Not Ever Say Goodbye, the spy film Danger!! Death Ray, and another Western, I Hate Long Days.
Il commence sa carrière en tant qu'assistant réalisateur au début des années 1950 avec des films du genre historique et mythologique. Il réalise son premier film en 1965 avec 30 Fusils pour un tueur (30 Winchester per El Diablo), un western pour lequel il a également écrit le scénario. Il enchaîne l'année suivante avec Tuez Johnny Ringo.
En 1975, il réalise son premier film érotique avec Quella provincia maliziosa.
Sa carrière prend fin en 1978 avec la sortie de S.O.S. Danger Uranium, film d'espionnage sur lequel il a travaillé comme assistant-réalisateur.
Presque toutes ses réalisations ont été faites sous le nom de Frank G.

Piero Spazin (George Ardisson) is a con artist who meets his friend Luigi Beton (Daniele Vargas), a fraudster, and the two get engaged in a new fraud scheme, also attempting to trick each other at the same time. Angela (Staller), a supposedly naïve employee of Piero's fiancée Augusta (Anna Maria Pescatori) becomes accidentally involved in their plan and agrees to accompany them on their journey. However, joining of Susy (Orchidea De Santis), another con artist to the group after meeting Luigi's son Rodolfo (Graziano Chiaro) makes things even more complicated.

Martin Benson is a Civil War veteran and former outlaw earning money and clearing his name by working as an undercover agent for the US Army. His infiltration of a ring supplying firearms and firewater to Indians has led to the capture and execution of three of the gang, though they would not identify the gang's ringleader. Despite his monetary rewards and the three pistols and gun belts of the executed men that he has posted home to his father, who still believes him to be an outlaw, Benson wants no more of the undercover life. Benson's controller, an Army Captain still wants him to continue his work in order to identify the ringleader and gain the Captain promotion. Though the Captain has another agent, Tony Guy, the Captain prefers Benson's efficiency.

Scientist Jean Karl Michael invents a death ray which, according to him, is for peaceful purposes. He arranges to demonstrate the ray to a group of European NATO representatives. As he is demonstrating it, a group of enemy agents disguised as NATO officials steals the death ray, kidnap the scientist, and escape by car under the cover of night. Following a pursuit and gun battle, they escape by helicopter which lands on a submarine and is discarded as the submarine submerges. About to go on vacation, Agent Bart Fargo is given the assignment, by his boss, of retrieving the death ray and saving the scientist. He travels to Madrid on a lead to find an evil organization that may be behind this. Rooting out a nest of spies in an ever-enclosing trail, Bart Fargo meets a lady when he hides in her house from the opposition and befriends an enemy agent who later helps him to stop the evil organization.

Johnny Ringo is a Texas Ranger out to stop a counterfeiting ring. However, a large part of the story (and of the efforts of the hero) instead involves a triangle drama between big boss Jackson, the rancher Ray Scott, saloon singer Annie – mistress to the former and lover of the latter – and by way of Ray also his sister Christine. The connection of this to the mission of the hero is that Ray may be convinced to testify against Jackson. The real counterfeit artist turns out to be the sheriff - Ringo’s partner to the investigation.
