Glenn Christopher Scarpelli (born July 6, 1966) is an American child actor and singer. Born in Staten Island, New York, he is the son of long time Archie Comics artist Henry Scarpelli (conversely, Glenn would feature in issue #330 of Archie, dated July 1984). He attended a private Catholic school, St. Joseph Hill Academy, from K to 8th grade.
He is best known for his 1980-1983 role of Alex Handris on the long-running television situation comedy One Day at a Time. He left that sitcom to appear in the NBC sitcom Jennifer Slept Here. Scarpelli's other television appearances include 3-2-1 Contact, Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories, MacGyver, The Love Boat, and Fantasy Island. He was also a co-host in summer 1983 of the NBC game show/human interest show Fantasy.
In 1977, at the age of 10, Scarpelli made his Broadway debut, appearing in the play Golda with Anne Bancroft. He later returned to the stage in 1979 with the role of Richard, Duke of York in the Broadway revival of Richard III starring Al Pacino.
Scarpelli released a self-entitled pop album in 1983, which included the single "Get A Love On".
Scarpelli came out as gay in adulthood. He currently lives in Sedona, Arizona, where he and his then-partner Jude Belanger established the Sedona Now Network, a community television station, in 2003. Scarpelli and Belanger were married in California in 2008, but filed for divorce in 2012.
He has remained close friends with One Day at a Time co-stars Mackenzie Phillips and Bonnie Franklin until her death in 2013.

Nunzio Sabatino (David Proval) is a grown man with the demeanor of a young child. He lives at home with his doting mother (Morgana King) and has a job as a bicycle delivery man for Angelo (Joe Spinell), the neighborhood grocer, which Angelo provides as a favor for Nunzio's brother Jamesie (James Andronica). Nunzio is fixated on elements of superhero stories; he wears sweatshirts that he has emblazoned with a shield and a capital "N" in the style of Superman's shield, along with a cape, and often walks and jumps across his neighborhood's rooftops, stopping short of actually trying to fly. Younger children enjoy his company, particularly Georgie (Glenn Scarpelli), whom he suggests will one day have to take his place as neighborhood do-gooder.
