Gwyneth Strong (born 2 December 1959) is an English actress. She is best known for her role in the popular BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses as Cassandra, the love interest of Derek "Del Boy" Trotter's younger brother Rodney, whom she later married in the series.

The film revolves around, Norman, a world-weary manager of a pier theatre in a seaside resort. Norman has worked in the theatre for all of his life, but will not accept that the local council, which own the theatre are planning to install more commercial management in an attempt to boost audience numbers. As the story unfolds he realises it may be time to move on and put behind him the ghost of 50s & 60s singer Alma Cogan, who performed at the theatre many years ago. Sandra, his devoted long-suffering assistant and Norman decide to leave the theatre to fulfill her dream of being a professional singer and unexpectedly enjoying a late blossoming romance.

Following a news story depicting the demolition of a slum in East London, South Africa, journalist Donald Woods (Kevin Kline) seeks more information about the incident and ventures off to meet black activist Steve Biko (Denzel Washington). Biko has been officially banned by the South African government and is not permitted to leave his defined banning area at King William's Town. Woods is formally against Biko's banning, but remains critical of his political views. Biko invites Woods to visit a black township to see the impoverished conditions and to witness the effect of the government-imposed restrictions, which make up the apartheid system. Woods begins to agree with Biko's desire for a South Africa where blacks have the same opportunities and freedoms as those enjoyed by the white population. As Woods comes to understand Biko's point of view, a friendship slowly develops between them.

Leo et Mike sont deux garçons de 11 ans, qui, livrés à eux-mêmes et impressionnés par des élèves plus âgés, glissent progressivement dans la délinquance. Three trustees of the Van Traylen fund have died during the last months, their deaths resembling suicides. But after a mysterious bus accident involving the final three trustees and 30 orphan children, police officer Colonel Bingham (Christopher Lee) starts investigating and notices discrepancies that make him question whether it was an accident. One of the orphans is treated by a psychiatrist, and when that doctor ends up murdered, it becomes obvious that something sinister is going on, and not just coincidental deaths. The dead psychiatrist's supervisor, Sir Mark Ashley (Peter Cushing), agrees to help the police with the hopes of finding the truth behind the mysterious happenings.
