Derrick O'Connor (born 1941) is an Irish character actor, best known for his performance as Pieter Vorstedt in Lethal Weapon 2. He is also known for his roles in Terry Gilliam films, and was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Terry Gilliam, who has directed O'Connor on three films, has noted in his audio commentaries that Derrick seems to have a habit of taking away most of his dialogue in favor of physical character humor. Notable examples include Time Bandits, in which his characters' dialogue was resorted to simple grunts while the Maid Marian character "translated" for him and in Brazil, in which Derrick scrapped all of his character's dialogue and simply repeated the dialogue of Bob Hoskins' character.

The wedding of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann is crashed by Lord Cutler Beckett of the East India Trading Company, who has arrest warrants for the couple along with Commodore James Norrington, for allowing Captain Jack Sparrow to escape custody. Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, where he runs a firm with best friend Franklin "Foggy" Nelson. In 1979 a priest at the Vatican sees a comet arching over the moon (described as the "Eye of God"), heralding the birth of one chosen to be the mother of Satan's child. The priest is sent on a mission by the pope (Mark Margolis) to find and protect the girl from Satan, although a few Vatican knights (led by a corrupt cardinal (Michael O'Hagan)) insist that she must die.
