Kankan De Ohle depicts a test of will and honesty of a person, Chaudhary, who takes on an identity of a bandit in order save the marriage of his friend's daughter, and is sent to jail. Taking him to be wrong, the villagers throw out his wife and son, Madan. Madan grows up without knowing his father and becomes the darling of the little village. Mama Ji is a drama with comedy and romance. Bansi Lal is an idle and not very intelligent man living in his (married) sister's home. His maternal grandfather is a businessman in Africa. His sister, Lajwanti, and her husband, Kirpa Ram, are very unhappy with him as he does not use his brain at work. They want him to leave. One day, he buy a magic stick from a magician thinking that the stick really has magic. This makes his sister and her husband very angry again. As he realized that the stick does not actually have any magic, he feels robbed and one day, he snatches money from the magician and runs and hides himself in a Tonga. A beautiful girl, Laali, is searching for his father, lost in the Visakhi mela (English: fair). A Tonga driver takes her with him, in the same Tonga in which Bansi is hiding, saying that he will find her father. After they leave the city, the driver tries to rape her, but Bansi rescues her and takes her home. The police locate Laali as her father reported and come to Kirpa Ram's home to get her back. Laali's father takes her back with thanks, but Kirpa Ram gets angry as the police came to his home because of Bansi and throws him out. Wandering, Bansi reaches Laali's village where he saves her from Phumman, a proud son of Khema - a patwari (English: local land record officer). Bansi stays at Laali's home.

Ezra (Sohrab Modi) is a jeweller who has a son called Elijah. He also has a friendly butler/child minder called Emmanuel. In the beginning, Ezra is due to leave. As he does, Elijah becomes upset and stands at the balcony. In the roads of the Jewish area, Brutus (Nazir Hussain), Governor of Rome, is passing, making an announcement. Watching over the balcony, is Elijah. A stone slips from his hand and hits Brutus on the head. Brutus immediately gets Elijah arrested, and as Elijah is a Jew, sentences him to death. Hearing this, Ezra rapidly returns from his trip and arrives at the doorstep of Brutus. He begs Brutus to free Elijah but Brutus feeds Elijah to hungry lions. Ezra sadly returns to his house. In revenge, Emmanuel kidnaps Lydia, motherless daughter of Brutus, and takes her to Ezra. Ezra declines to kill Lydia and adopts the child.

The only son of the Royal Astrologer, Narsin (Om Prakash) namely Gopal (Bharat Bhushan) is not interested in astrology but in music and songs, much to the dismay of Narsin. Gopal's talents are well-known and he could become the Emperor's Chief Musician if he wins in the contest. The story is about King Karma Dev who gives a lot of importance to physical beauty. His mother the Rajmata requests Mahamantri Munjal to find him a nice wife. Karma Dev often dreams of marrying an unknown beautiful woman he had once seen in the Somnath temple. Meanwhile Mrinalla is the princess of Karnataka who also dreams of marrying a king she had once seen in the Somnath temple. When Munjal happens to see the beautiful woman Mrinalla, he shows the King's portrait to her and she is happy to finally find the man of her dreams. So she runs away from the palace and searches for Karma Dev to marry him. Soon after, Munjal shows Mrinalla's painting to Karma Dev, who agrees to marry her. On the day of the marriage, the King finds out she is dark and refuses to marry her. After several incidents Karma Dev realizes his mistake and at last he happily accepts Mrinalla as his Patrani.
