Jane Loretta Anne Goldman (born 11 June 1970) is an English screenwriter, author and producer. She is mostly known for co-writing with Matthew Vaughn the screenplays of Stardust (2007), Kick-Ass (2010) and X-Men: First Class (2011). Both met high critical praise for their partnership works. The Woman in Black (2012) is the first solo screenplay by Goldman. She is also known for writing the books The X-Files Book of the Unexplained and Dreamworld, and presenting her own paranormal TV series, Jane Goldman Investigates, on the channel Living, between 2003 and 2004.

Biography
Elle commence à travailler pour le tabloïd Daily Star très jeune et se marie en 1988 avec le présentateur de télévision Jonathan Ross et elle a trois enfants de ce mariage, Betty Kitten, née en 1991, Harvey Kirby, né en 1994, et Honey Kinny, née en 1997. Dans les années 1990, elle écrit un roman, Dreamworld, ainsi qu'un essai en deux volumes, The X-Files Book of the Unexplained, basé sur la série télévisée X-Files. Elle se lance ensuite dans l'écriture de scénarios, participant en 2001 à l'écriture d'une sitcom, Baddiel's Syndrome. In the future, robots known as Sentinels are exterminating mutants and their human allies. A band of mutants, including Kitty Pryde, Colossus, Iceman, Bishop, Warpath, Blink and Sunspot, evade the Sentinels due to Pryde's ability to send a person's consciousness to the past. Pryde's group convenes with Logan, Storm, Professor Charles Xavier, and Erik Lehnsherr at a monastery in China. Pryde sends Logan's consciousness 50 years back in time to 1973 to prevent Mystique from assassinating Dr. Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels. Following the assassination, Mystique was captured, and her DNA was used by Trask's company to improve the Sentinels, whose ability to adapt to any mutant power makes them almost invincible. 40 years after the events of the first film, bombs drop down on London during the Blitz of World War II, Eve Parkins joins her schoolchildren and the school's headmistress, Jean Hogg, to evacuate them to the countryside town of Crythin Gifford.
