Larry Meistrich (born October 14, 1966) is an award-winning film producer. He was a founding member of the now defunct film production company The Shooting Gallery.
Meistrich attended Johns Hopkins University graduating in 1989 with a degree in writing. While at Hopkins, he was a brother of Alpha Delta Phi.
He produced Sling Blade, with Billy Bob Thornton, which won the Academy Award for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay. He won an Independent Spirit Award for producing You Can Count on Me in 2001 and a Chlotrudis Award in 2004, and the film was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Screenplay.

Julie Johnson is a bored New Jersey housewife who is unhappy with her life and decides to take a computer class at a local college. The film opens as Vann Siegert (Owen Wilson) decides to turn left onto a road, striking out on a new path in life. His first stop is a bar, where he meets Casper (Sheryl Crow, in her first film appearance). They leave the bar together in his truck. Casper asks Vann to pull over at a rest stop to get high. After she shoots up, she balances her syringe on the open glove box, noticing a flask. She asks what is in it, and Vann answers that it is full of amaretto. After drinking it, she passes out. The film begins in early 1999, with two young New York street criminals Tommy Bunds ("Bundy") (DMX) and Sincere ("Sin") (Nas), along with their associates in crime Mark and Black.
