Laverne Harding (October 10, 1905 - September 25, 1984) was an American animator.
Harding, who worked for the Walter Lantz studio for much of her half-century career in animation, is among the earliest woman animators.
By 1932, Harding had settled in Los Angeles and was a student at the Chouinard Art Institute. Working for the Lantz studio from 1934 until 1960, Harding was particularly noted for her work on Woody Woodpecker cartoons; she designed the version of the character that was in use from 1950 to 1999. After leaving Lantz, she animated for Hanna-Barbera cartoons such as Yogi Bear. She later worked for DePatie-Freleng Enterprises on Pink Panther cartoons, and was briefly employed at Warner Bros. and Filmation as well.
Harding was a native of the state of Louisiana.

The Pink Panther and an unnamed painter (known as the "Little Man") compete over whether a house should be painted blue or pink. Each time the painter attempts to paint something blue, the panther thwarts him in a new way, and paints the object/area pink. At the end, the exasperated painter inadvertently turns the house and everything around it pink (first by repeatedly shooting at the elusive panther with a shotgun that the panther had poured pink paint into, and then by burying the panther's pink paint cans in the soil outside the house, where they "sprout"), and the panther moves in. But just before he moves in, he paints the white man completely pink. The painter gets upset and bangs his head against the mailbox outside. The Pink Panther then walks into the house as the sun (also turned pink) sets.

Lawrence Talbot (Lon Chaney, Jr.) is making an urgent call from London to a Florida railway station where Chick Young (Bud Abbott) and Wilbur Grey (Lou Costello) work as baggage clerks. Wilbur answers the phone and Talbot tries to impart to him the danger of a shipment due to arrive for the "McDougal House Of Horrors" (a local wax museum) which purportedly contains the actual bodies of Count Dracula (Béla Lugosi) and the Frankenstein Monster (Glenn Strange). However, before he is able to warn Wilbur, a full moon rises and Talbot transforms into a werewolf, who proceeds to destroy his apartment while Wilbur is on the line. Wilbur, thinking the call is just a prank, hangs up and continues on with his work day. Immediately thereafter, the actual Mr. McDougal (Frank Ferguson) shows up to claim the shipments and, fearing them damaged when Wilbur and Chick mishandle them, demands that the crates be delivered in person so his insurance agent can inspect them.

Le Professeur Weatherby Groundhog, une marmotte, sort en trombe de son terrier pour placarder un avis de vague de grand froid et sonner le tocsin (en perdant par moments sa culotte). Aussitôt, les oiseaux (habillés et agissant comme des humains) sortent de leurs nids en forme de maisons et accourent devant l'affiche. Elle recommande à ceux-ci de partir au plus vite et d'émigrer vers le sud. C'est la panique ! Chacun va chercher ses affaires et tous quittent rapidement la région : un couple barricade la maison, un oiseau rentre la sienne dans un trou d'arbre et tire une fermeture-éclair pour refermer le trou. Une famille entière se précipite dehors en se tenant chacun la main (y compris le grillon du foyer), elle est suivie du poussin qui vient tout juste d'éclore de son œuf.
