Lupu Pick (2 January 1886 – 7 March 1931) was a Romanian-born German actor, film director, producer and screenwriter of the silent era. He appeared in 50 films between 1910 and 1928.
Born in Romania, Pick's father was a Jewish Austrian, his mother, of Romanian origin. He began as a stage actor in Hamburg, Flensburg and Berlin before 1910. In 1917 he founded the film company Rex-Film AG.
He served on the board of the Film Association of Industrialists (Vorstand des Verbandes der Filmindustriellen), SPIO and the Film Directors Association of Germany (Verbandes der Filmregisseure Deutschlands) and worked intensively to establish the union-based umbrella organization of Filmmakers in Germany (Filmschaffenden Deutschlands) (Dacho). He was the organization's first chairman.
Pick was married to actress Edith Posca.

Avec son ami et collaborateur, le scénariste Carl Mayer, il se tourne vers le Kammerspiel film et crée avec Le Rail (1921) et La Nuit de la Saint-Sylvestre (1924) deux œuvres exemplaires. Son dernier film muet en 1929, La Fin de Napoléon à Sainte-Hélène ou Sainte-Hélène (Napoleon auf St. Helena), est un film psychologique autant qu'historique adapté d'un scénario d'Abel Gance. Après cela Lupu Pick tourne, avec les Comedian Harmonists, son unique film sonore, en deux versions, l'une française, Les Quatre Vagabonds, et l'autre allemande, Gassenhauer.
Il meurt en 1931, sans doute d'un suicide par empoisonnement. Son épouse, l'actrice Edith Posca , est morte quatre mois après lui.

À Berlin au début du XX siècle, les cinq membres d'un groupe de chanteurs vivent dans l'indigence dans un immeuble délabré. Quand l'administrateur de l'immeuble est retrouvé assassiné, Peter et Paul, deux membres, sont soupçonnés du meurtre. Au retour d'un concert, la police les attend pour les arrêter et les interroger.
