Identical twin brothers Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig (Listen/spiːrɪɡ/; born April 29, 1976), known together professionally as the Spierig Brothers, are German-born Australian film directors, producers and writers.
Peter and Michael made their directing debut in 2003 with Undead, and rose to fame with their second film Daybreakers (2010) starring Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe, for which they won their country's top prize for Best Visual Effects at the Australian Film Institute Awards. They write, direct and produce their films together, and are heavily involved in the editing, sound and visual effects of all their works.
Their next film, Predestination, based on the science fiction short story "—All You Zombies—" by Robert A. Heinlein and co-written and co-directed by the twins, is scheduled for filming in January 2013. It is set to star Ethan Hawke as the lead.

Sarah Lockwood Pardee, originaire de New Haven dans le Connecticut, épouse en 1862 William Wirt Winchester, le fils unique d'Oliver Winchester, le propriétaire de la Winchester Repeating Arms Company. The movie begins in medias res when a time travelling agent is disarming a bomb, which however explodes and burns his face. Someone approaches and helps him to grasp his time travelling device, bringing him to a hospital in the future. While the agent is recovering from facial reconstruction, we learn that he had been trying to avoid the "Fizzle Bomber's" attack on New York, in 1975. After his recovery he receives his last assignment.

In 2009, a plague caused by an infected vampire bat has transformed most of the world's population into vampires and due to this event, control of the world no longer belongs to humans. The vampires are incapable of aging or dying, but are unprotected against sunlight or any ultraviolet light. The entire vampire world is active at night, and various technological and architecture advances are made to adjust the populated areas to vampires' night cycle (such as UV protective cars, underground railways and paths across the cities, and UV warnings).

After losing her family farm to the bank, local beauty pageant winner Rene (Felicity Mason), decides to leave the small town of Berkeley.
