Mukesh Bhatt (born 5 June 1952 in Mumbai), is an Indian film producer, who has produced several Bollywood films. He is the younger brother of Mahesh Bhatt, and also the co-owner of the production company Vishesh Films, set up in 1986. He is the uncle of Pooja Bhatt, Rahul Bhatt, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Emraan Hashmi.

Biography
Bhatt is the son of Nanabhai Bhatt (1915–1999), a Hindi film director-producer. His father was a Gujarati Hindu Brahmin and mother a Muslim. Nanabhai's brother, Balwant Bhatt (1909–1965) was also a Hindi film director. Nilima Bhatt is his wife. Sagar Hussain (Rajpal Yadav) is in Jail as an under trial prisoner having charge against him of regularly raping his own three daughters. No one was agreed to defend his case in the Court and he was also facing hatred and cruelty from every person in jail and society. But a noble but influential prisoner Nadir (Mukesh Tiwari) gave him company and listened to him. Sagar got his belief back and informed him in writing the entire happenings. After knowing everything, Nadir influenced a renowned lawyer Ravi Vishnoi (Kader Khan) to fight his case. After a long trial and critical interrogation and cross interrogation between Ravi Vishnoi and the Public Prosecutor Anand Verma (Prem Chopra), fact became unfolded. Sagar's wife Sabeena (Monica Castelino) was proved to be a prostitute who with the help of her associate put their daughters in flesh trade. When the elder one resisted due to a call of humanity, they murdered her. Incidentally the murdering scene got recorded in daughter's mobile. The film ends with Sagar released from the Jail after being respectfully exonerated by the honourable court of law. The film is considered as a landmark film in the league of non-main stream films of Bollywood.

The story begins in a rural village in Bihar, with the delivery of a baby girl to a village couple. Her disappointed father, who was hoping for a boy, drowns her in vat of milk in a public ceremony. Many years later somewhere around 2050 A.D., this unchecked trend leads to the village being populated solely by males. The now uncouth and aggressive young men of the village are desperate for wives and release their frustration through group screenings of imported pornographic films, cross-dressed dance performances, and even bestiality. Siddharth "Siddhu "Marathe (Aamir Khan) is a Mumbai tapori, a boxing champion. Kabir (Ali Fazal), is a novelist, whose failed career and relationship with Simran (Debina Bonnerjee) forces him to move to Kashmir in search of an inspirational story. The film begins with the Anti Terrorist Department in the middle of an assignment. A terrorist takes a bus full of people on hostage. Raghuram "Raghu" Rathod (Emraan Hashmi) supported by the brave officer Siya Verma (Amyra Dastur) accomplish the operation. This could have almost killed Raghu who is engaged to Siya. After the operation Siya tells Raghu she cannot handle life's unpredictability and the thought of being away from him. He asks his hand in marriage and the two are betrothed. On the day before their marriage, the two are summoned by ACP Bhardwaaj (Arunoday Singh). There is a plot to kill the chief minister of the state and both are put to duty. hardwaaj mr. X. fashions his involvement in the plot such that Raghu is compelled to murder the CM. If he doesn't kill the CM, then a sniper will murder Siya who is on duty at another location. Left with no choice, Raghu murders the CM upon a confrontation from the latter's son Aditya. He tries to flee but gets cornered by Bhardwaaj and his man Tiwari. The three take Raghu to a run down factory and kill him there.
