The character of Neha is played by newcomer Rai and Gogol is played by Debanjan. “It was actually so great working with Rudra Da (Rudranil Ghosh). He taught us every moment what to do and what not to. It was more of a learning experience for us”, said Rai who has also appeared for his class 10 CBSE board exams this year.

Drama unfolds when both the families come to know about Saban, Arjun, and their plan to elope. Just when Saban is to be married to a U.S.-based computer engineer Niky. Underlying tensions erupt and bubble to the surface, each family blames the other. Amidst this entire ruckus, Saban is locked inside her room and attempts suicide. She is rushed to the hospital where they refuse to let Arjun visit her. On the other hand, Pushupati is constantly threatened by the local goon Krishnagopal Das to vacate his property. Navin the brother of Praveen Agarwal who has had his eyes set on the property for a long time is carrying out this plan. Arjun intervenes and is mortally injured; he is rushed to the I.C.U. where immediate blood is needed. Pashupati willingly steps in to donate blood and their blood groups miraculously match each other. In the process, Pashupati saves Arjun's life. The two families eventually unite and it seems that a wedding is in store after all.

One night Anjan tries to seduce Ranjana but due to too much drinking and he faints allowing Ranjana to run. But she stays and nourishes him. This changes Anjan's attitude towards her and he teaches her music.

Is Vicky better than Akaash for Imon or would she rather stick to the troublesome Akaash? Madly Bangalee is a Bengali rock band that inspires the film’s title. They rehearse in a dowdy garage of Kolkata, owned by Bobby (Lew Hilt), who owns Bobby’s Garage. Four young boys with stardust in their eyes practise their numbers not knowing what they are really aiming at. But the garage is under threat from a South Kolkata don Baburam (Chandan Sen). One morning, an elderly man, San (Anjan Dutt), arrives from "America and Paris." Baaji, (Sumit) the drummer who is a Muslim had to drop out of school. He escapes from the trap of turning a terrorist like his older brother Sultan. He later becomes a police officer who bashes up everyone who tries to bribe him. Neon (Tanaji) plays the bass guitar but, sucked into the world of drugs, he disappears from the face of the earth with his guitar. Pablo, lead singer, lead guitarist and lyricist, leaves for the US and the group breaks up. Bobby dies.

At this point, they start a travelling agency, called 'Gharoa Travels'. On their first trip, they start the journey with only 9 passengers. On the way to the hills, a girl named Ria joins them. The film deals with their journey through North Bengal. The ten tourist and the four operators form an assorted medley of characters. As the journey progresses, their natures are slowly revealed. The film has a style of flash-forwarding to the future juxtaposed with the present, giving the audience a sense of the fates of the characters even as the story progresses.
