Juan Miguel Rivera Bondoc (born May 12, 1977) is a Filipino actor and television host. He was known for his roles in shows like TGIS (Thank God It's Sabado) and its spin-off Growing Up shown on GMA Network. He later became an ABS-CBN talent, seen on several films and television series of the network, including Ngayong Nandito Ka with Kristine Hermosa.

Juan Miguel Rivera Bondoc was born to businessman Mariano Bondoc, Jr. and Milo Rivera. He is the eldest of four. He was to follow the footsteps of his father in his father's stock brokerage firm when showbiz came acalling.

Bondoc spent most of his high school and grade school at La Salle Greenhills. He left the country and finished his high school at Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada.

Biography

He is married to Valerie Bariou, a half-French, half-Filipina commercial model. They have one daughter, Armelle. His life story was featured on TV5's drama anthology Star Confessions where he was portrayed by young actor Rodjun Cruz.

The film tells a funny story about three fantastic and fearless female friends. Karen (Joyce Jimenez) is the smart and fashionable one among the three. She works for a girls magazine, and later catches her boyfriend, Artie (Rafael Rosell), in bed with another woman, Greta (Jenny Miller). Love (Assunta De Rossi) is the cousin of Karen. She works in the cosmetics section of a department store, and dreams of becoming a beauty queen someday, thus, making her a regular contestant of beauty competitions. Yolly (Ai-Ai de las Alas) is the businesswoman of the group. She is into the buy and sell business, wherein she buys clothes from ukay-ukay only to sell them as brand new and original. The story runs when Love joins the Diyosa ng Kagandahan 2003 contest, where they find out that her roommate, Greta, is the new girlfriend of Karen's philandering boyfriend, Artie, and the kinakapatid of Yolly's boyfriend policeman, SPO Pablito (Carlos Agassi), who dumped her. They also see this girl cuddling up with one of the judges of the contest, George Collins (Carlo Maceda). Karen, Love and Yolly tire out all their efforts for Love to win the contest and teach their ex-boyfriends a valuable lesson.

The first character shown is Ruben (John Prats). A college student, his job at Barako Café (owned by Trigger played by Onemig Bondoc) is not nearly enough to pay his tuition. Having lost his scholarship on a technicality,Ruben resorts to burglary in order to cover his educational expenses. Wacks plans a weekend get-away using his father's yacht without him knowing. However, the boat breaks down, forcing the group to stay on a nearby island. The boat is not tightly anchored to the bottom; as a result it drifts away from the island with nobody on board. Left stranded, the gang try to survive as their loved ones search for them. Eager to find help, the guys move out using an improvised raft, but not before Wacks finally confesses his feelings for Peachy, who fell unconscious in a bat cave. The entire group is eventually rescued the following day.
