Pascal Adant (born July 8, 1971) is a Belgian film and television director, screenwriter, producer, animator and composer.
Before moving into filmmaking, he was a photojournalist for the Vox magazine and was sent in Africa to cover the Somali civil war. Self-taught, he learned cinematography in books and used a 16mm Bolex camera to practise.
Adant's good sense of entertainment and technical skills allow him to treat any subjects in many genre with humor and irony. He entirely animates his cartoons and films himself when shooting live action. His characters are often torn between fear and desire, love and hate, honesty and betrayal, conflicting and self-destructive emotions that land them to failure sometimes. Most of his movies were selected and prize-winning in major festivals.
En 2010, il réalise 15 épisodes d'une nouvelle série TV produite par MTV Networks diffusée sur Nickelodeon, et signe en 2012 Sunflower Seed, un film sur la jeunesse du peintre Vincent van Gogh au Borinage.
Son prochain film, L'Epreuve, est en préparation.

Biography
Diplômé en photographie, Pascal Adant réalise des reportages pour le Vox magazine et couvre notamment le conflit armé en Somalie en 1993. À la fin de son service militaire, il crée des bandes dessinées avant de se lancer dans la réalisation. Il est à la fois réalisateur, scénariste, monteur, cadreur et animateur.En 2010, il réalise 15 épisodes d'une nouvelle série TV produite par MTV Networks diffusée sur Nickelodeon, et signe en 2012 Sunflower Seed, un film sur la jeunesse du peintre Vincent van Gogh au Borinage.
