Ranjith Sankar is an Indian screenwriter, producer and film director. He started his movie career with the acclaimed Passenger. He has followed with movies Arjunan Saakshi and Molly Aunty Rocks. He launched his production house Dreams N Beyond www.dnbmovies.com with Molly Aunty Rocks.
His big break in films came through Passenger released in 2009, which subsequently won accolades from critics and audience.
In 2011, his next film Arjunan Saakshi, starring Prithviraj, was released. It was inspired by his real-life experiences and won positive reviews from the critics.
Molly Aunty Rocks in 2012 starring Revathy and Prithviraj was a critical and commercial success.

Biography
Born in Thrissur, Kerala, India, Ranjith Sankar completed his education from M A College of Engineering, Kothamangalam. It all began with his love for storytelling. He likes to think he is a writer first and then a director. Shankar’s writing career began with television series such as Nizhalkal and American Dreams.His big break in films came through Passenger released in 2009, which subsequently won accolades from critics and audience.
In 2011, his next film Arjunan Saakshi, starring Prithviraj, was released. It was inspired by his real-life experiences and won positive reviews from the critics.
Molly Aunty Rocks in 2012 starring Revathy and Prithviraj was a critical and commercial success.
His latest movie, Punyalan Agarbattis starring Jayasurya , Nyla Usha , Innocent and Aju Varghese, is released on 29th Nov2013.

The story revolves around Joy Thakkolkaran (Jayasurya), a young entrepreneur from Thrissur. His new business venture 'Punyalan Agarbattis' involves manufacturing Incense of India from elephant dung. Joy's friend cum operation manager of Punyalan Agarbattis, Greenu Sharma (Aju Varghese) also supports Joy whenever needed. Once after the Thrissur Pooram, they both decide to improve Punyalan Agarbattis and make it famous worldwide.
