Saulo Ismaro Haarla (21 November 1930 – 4 October 1971) was a Finnish actor and theatre manager. He appeared in seven films between 1951–1961 and worked as a theatre manager in the Oulu City Theatre 1970–1971. Having been a heavy drinker, Haarla died in 1971 at the age of 40.

Mrs. Skrof, a wealthy and hated woman belonging to a religious sect, is found dead in her apartment. She died apparently from inhaling gas leaking from her cooker while under the influence of sleep-medication. Several details of the case lead Inspector Palmu to suspect that she was murdered, including a crooked soup pot, her unusually strong sleeping pills and the fact her dog has been killed by breaking its neck.

Nous sommes à l'été 1941. Une compagnie de mitrailleuses de l'est de la Finlande reçoit l'ordre de restituer leur surplus d'équipement. La société est transférée aux lignes de front.
