Biography
Fille du metteur en scène Philippe Arthuys, Sophie Arthuys a commencé par s'intéresser aux décors de théâtre et à la peinture (elle a fait les Beaux-Arts) avant d'en arriver à la comédie. Une fois dans cette branche, elle devient metteuse en scène et rejoint la scénographie à l'école de la Rue Blanche. Jusqu'au jour où un metteur en scène la remarque et lui propose de jouer dans une de ses pièces.Quelques années plus tard, son père, alors directeur d'une société de doublage, lui demande de venir travailler pour lui.

Deux élèves en CM1 à l'école Jerome Horwitz (ou Albert Martin en français) de Piqua (Ohio), Georges Glousse (le scénariste) et Harold Golade (le dessinateur) créent des bandes dessinées dans leur cabane et multiplient les blagues à l'école. Mais un jour, après les avoir pris sur le fait grâce à une caméra de surveillance cachée dans une tortue-jouet, M. Chonchon, leur proviseur hargneux, décide de les séparer en les plaçant dans deux classes différentes. Pour échapper à cette séparation, ils hypnotisent, grâce à une hypno-bague trouvée dans un paquet de céréales, M. Chonchon, et lui font croire successivement qu'il est un poulet, un singe puis le Capitaine Superslip, un superhéros de leur création. Quand il entend un claquement de doigts, M. Chonchon enlève ses vêtements et sa moumoute. Vêtu d'un slip immaculé, il se fait une cape d'un rideau rouge, lève le poing gauche, l'index pointé en l'air et lance le fameux slogan du Capitaine Superslip : « Tra-La Laaaa ! ». Dès qu'il est aspergé d'eau, l'individu redevient M.

In 1993, professional basketball player Michael Jordan announces his retirement from the sport to follow his late father’s career as a baseball player.
