Stanley John "Stan" Dragoti (born October 4, 1932) is an American film director whose work includes the comedies Mr. Mom and Love at First Bite. Dragoti was born in New York City to Albanian parents, both having emigrated in the 1920s from the county of Bythqiri, in Southern Albania. His interest in cinematography led him to Cooper Union College in New York and later to the Visual Arts College. He has also produced ads for the air travel and automobile industry.

Biography

Dragoti est né dans la ville de New York de parents albanais, tous deux émigrés dans les années 1920 depuis le district de Tepelen, au sud de l'Albanie. Intéressé par le cinéma, il s'inscrivit au Cooper Union College à New York, puis poursuivit sa formation au Visual Arts College. Il a commencé sa carrière comme publicitaire pour le transport aérien et l'industrie automobile. Associé à Charlie Moss, ils furent notamment les créateurs de la célèbre campagne « I ♥ NY (I love New York) ».

En 2014, il avait subi une opération à cœur ouvert.

The infamous vampire Count Dracula is expelled from his castle by the Communist government of Romania, which plans to convert the structure into a training facility for gymnasts (the head trainer declares that it will include Nadia Comăneci).
