Stanley Caine (born Stanley Victor Micklewhite, 11 February 1936 – 13 January 2013) was an actor and the younger brother of actor Michael Caine. He was noted for his role as "Coco" in the popular 1969 film The Italian Job, which starred Michael.
Caine was diagnosed with leukaemia in early 2008. He died in his sleep in January 2013 in Ruislip, North London.

Biography
In addition to his older brother Michael, Stanley had an older maternal half-brother who Stan and Michael only knew of after their mother's death in 1989. Their half-brother died in 1992.Caine was diagnosed with leukaemia in early 2008. He died in his sleep in January 2013 in Ruislip, North London.

Charlie Croker (Michael Caine), a Cockney gangster, is released from prison with the intent of doing a "big job" in Italy. He soon meets with the widow (Lelia Goldoni) of his friend and fellow thief Roger Beckermann (Rossano Brazzi), who was killed driving a Lamborghini Miura in a car crash in the Italian Alps. The car crash was arranged by the Mafia. The widow gives Croker her husband's plans for the robbery that attracted the hostile attention of his killers, and which detail a way to steal 4 million dollars worth of Chinese gold in Italy, and escape with it to Switzerland.

Harry Palmer (Michael Caine), who has left MI5 to work as a private investigator, is told by a mechanical voice on the phone to take a package to Helsinki. The package contains six virus-laden eggs that have been stolen from the British government's research facility at Porton Down. In Helsinki, he is met by Anya (Françoise Dorléac) who takes him to meet her handler, Harry's old friend Leo Newbigen (Karl Malden). Leo is in love with Anya, but Harry knows that she is only pretending to reciprocate. Leo takes Harry to a secret room where a computer issues daily instructions to Leo and Anya. The computer speaks in the same voice as the one which summoned Harry to Helsinki.
