Struan Rodger (born 18 September 1946) is a British actor who has appeared widely in a range of supporting roles. He appeared briefly in Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? in 1978 but his first major film role was as Eric Liddell's friend and running coach Sandy McGrath, in the Oscar-winning 1981 film, Chariots of Fire. His later films included Diamond Skulls (1989), Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), The Madness of King George (1994), The Innocent Sleep (1996) and Stardust (2007).

Rodger is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Barbara Flynn's husband in the television detective series Chandler & Co. Rodger had a recurring role on Rumpole of the Bailey as Detective Inspector Brush, a police detective noted for what Rumpole perceives as flagrant abuses of the law. He is also the actor who provided the voice for the Doctor Who character Face of Boe in the stories "New Earth" and "Gridlock".

Rodger has also appeared on television in episodes of Miss Marple, Maigret, Midsomer Murders and Look and Read, as well as portraying Bonnie Prince Charlie in "Through a Glass, Darkly," a season four episode of Highlander: The Series.

In 2009, he appeared in The First Domino at Brighton Festival Fringe. In 2014, he played the mythical Three-Eyed Raven in the Game of Thrones episode "The Children"; he was replaced by Max von Sydow when the character reappeared in the sixth season.

Shel organises a dinner party to which she invites Gal and his latest girlfriend, Fiona, a human resources manager. During the evening, Gal reveals he has a new job for them, which Shel encourages him to take. Meanwhile, Fiona goes to the toilet, carves a symbol on the back of the bathroom mirror, and takes a tissue that Jay had used to mop up his blood after a shaving accident. As the movie opens, Sherlock is in pursuit of the criminal Professor Moriarty (Vincent D'Onofrio) and apparently shoots him to death. His body cannot be found, however, as it falls in a sewer. After this incident, Holmes gains notoriety with the press and the police for his apparent killing of Moriarty, and meets Dr. Watson (Roger Morlidge), an early practitioner of autopsies, for the first time. Together, they start an investigation into the murder of several crime lords and become convinced that Moriarty is alive and behind a plot to organize drug dealing. Given that Moriarty is supposedly dead, Holmes finds it hard to convince Inspector Lestrade (Nicholas Gecks) of this claim. Holmes' investigation leads him to a prostitute (Gabrielle Anwar), who posed as a rich woman to lure Holmes into the plot. Richard E. Grant also appears as Holmes' brother, Mycroft, who was addicted to opium by Moriarty when Sherlock was young.

The film depicts the relatively primitive medical practices of the time and the suppositions that physicians made in their efforts to understand the human body. After King George III begins to go mad, his doctors attempt cures such as blistering and purges, led on particularly by the Prince of Wales' personal physician, Dr. Warren. Meanwhile, another of the King's physicians, Dr. Pepys, analyses the King's stool and urine believing that body wastes may contain some clue to the Royal malady; of course, none of these attempts to cure the King actually works. Finally, Lady Pembroke, attendant to the Queen, recommends Dr. Willis, an ex-minister who attempts to cure the insane through behaviour modification, and who begins his restoration of the King's mental state by enforcing a strict regime of strapping the King into a waistcoat and restraining him whenever he misbehaves.
