Vasanth(Aari) is an artist who is working on a story about 'Mayavanam', a haunted forest. Vasanth's boss, Ram Prasad (Amzath Khan), tells him about a book that details the life of the mentally-ill who were forced into asylums and experimented upon. Madhan (Uday Mahesh), an episode writer, recounts the story of one such inmate, a woman named Maya Matthews, who was forced to give up her new-born daughter to the authorities in the asylum. She falls to her death from the building, with an expensive ring rumored to be on her person, and is buried in the grounds of the asylum (Mayavanam), where it is believed her vengeful spirit now roams. Soon, Madhan and Vasanth's friend meet with grisly deaths, which spurs Vasanth to embark on an investigation into Mayavanam.

This film is about an young aspiring Cricketer Jeeva, who dreams of playing for the India national cricket team one day. The films begins with Jeeva, sitting in a park bench and starts to narrate his life story. He is a lower middle class boy,who from the very young age is interested in cricket. He sees Sachin Tendulkar as his idol. Though his father initially does not support him, he later starts to do so on the request of his friend. Jeeva grows up and becomes a part of the school team. He excels in his game and turns out to be a star player. Seeing his performances, a local cricket club offers him a chance to join and train with them,for which his father disagrees saying that his academic performance is poor due to cricket and he may not get a job in future. In between Jeeva falls in love with his neighbour girl and they are broken up when their family comes to know about this. Jeeva starts to drink due to this heartbreak. So to make him concentrate on good deeds again, Jeeva's father agrees to let him join the cricket club.

The story begins with a chance meeting of four youngsters (Naveen, Sentrayan, Kuberan and Vellaswami aka " White " ) in a police station where they are held in connection with a robbery case. The film starts with Justin (Richard) getting released from jail while his friend Natty (Natraj) is waiting for him. A writer who witnesses this decided to write biography on them. Justin and Nutty are friends since childhood, they first met during the death of their respective parents. Both work as henchmen to Nair (Nasser). They are his loyal servants and both are prepared to lay their lives for their master. However a sequence of events results in Nair developing mistrust and hatred on the two. He employs another youth (Aditya Srivastav) in their place and plans to bump them off. Eventually Justin ends up in prison and Nattu loses his leg thanks to Nair's plans. After three years (when Justin completes his jail term ), Justin along with Nattu decides to stay away from violence and lead a peaceful life. Charu (Madhumitha), a girl next door falls in love with Justin and both decide to marry. Meanwhile a reformed Nair seeks apology to both Nattu and Justin before his death. However when things go smooth in their lives, a previous enmity leaves Nair's henchmen making an attempt on Justin's life which eventually claims the life of Charu. In the climax, Justin stabs Aditya while Justin also gets stabbed and dies. The film ends with Natty carrying Justin, both jump into sea and die.
