Verena Mei (born November 2 in Pearl City, Hawaii) is an American model, actress and racecar driver of Asian-American descent.
Mei has had appearances in three movies, including Rush Hour 2. She is a trained stunt driver and the current host of Sexy Road Test at Ripe TV. She was also import scene model.
In the early 2000s, she began a motorsport career. From 2004 to 2007, she competed in American drifting championship Formula Drift for Nissan. In 2008 and 2009, she moved to Redline Time Attack.
In 2011, Verena began training with the Team O'Neil Rally School in Dalton, NH, mentored by North American Rally Champion, Tim O'Neil. In 2012, Verena races for TrueCar in the Rally America National Championship in a Production Class Fiesta. She is one of 6 female race car drivers who are part of the TrueCar Racing Women Empowered Initiative, the first and only all female race team. Her TrueCar Racing teammates include Katherine Legge (Izod IndyCar), Shea Holbrook (Pirelli World Challenge), Ashley Freiberg (Star Mazda), Shannon McIntosh (USF 2000), and Emilee Tominovich (Playboy MX-5) Cup.

In Arizona, 17-year-old high school student Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) and Clay (Zachery Ty Bryan) race their cars to win Clay's girlfriend Cindy (Nikki Griffin). Four days after the events of the first film, detective James Carter is on vacation in Hong Kong, visiting his friend, Hong Kong Police Force Chief Inspector Lee, as he was sent along with Lee in saving the life of the Chinese counsel's daughter in Los Angeles. The fun is put on hold when a bomb explodes at the United States Consulate General, killing two undercover U.S. custom agents inside. Inspector Lee is assigned to the case, which becomes personal when it is discovered that it somehow involves Ricky Tan, his late police officer father's former partner. Tan, who was suspected of having a role in Lee's father's death - though the connection was never proven - is now a leader of the Triads. This, however, causes a rift between Lee and Carter, the later who simply wants to enjoy his vacation and not get into any danger.
