Sneijder-Cabau is a co-founder and ambassador of Stop Kindermisbruik, a foundation which aims to put an end to child sexual abuse in developing countries. Stop Kindermisbruik engages in actions such as freeing child prostitutes, preventing children from becoming child prostitutes, and helping freed children cope with the trauma they endured.

Sneijder-Cabau began a relationship with football player Wesley Sneijder in 2009. They were married on 17 July 2010 in Tuscany, Italy, six days after Sneijder played the final of the FIFA World Cup. Following her marriage, she changed her surname from Cabau van Kasbergen to Sneijder-Cabau, which she also uses professionally.Sneijder-Cabau is a co-founder and ambassador of Stop Kindermisbruik, a foundation which aims to put an end to child sexual abuse in developing countries. The film takes place in 1983, primarily in Amsterdam and centers in a group of five Dutch friends: Willem Holleeder, Cor van Hout, Jan Boellard, Martin Erkamps and Frans Meijer. Looking for easy money, they decide to kidnap Heineken owner, the tycoon Freddy Heineken in order to achieve a very high ransom. Although successfully capturing Heineken and his driver Ab Doderer, the group eventually face difficulties due to their lack of experience in crime. They fail to negotiate with the police, and Cor has to deal with the responsibilities of taking care of his pregnant wife, Sonja. After Heineken is finally released by the police, Willem and Cor flee to Paris and Willem frequently tells Cor to not call Sonja because the calls could be traced by the police. Although initially reluctant, Cor gives in to his emotions, resulting in the two being arrested by the French police while leaving their apartment.

In 1995, schemer Daniel Lugo (Mark Wahlberg) is a recently released convict who had served time for Medicare fraud. Sun Gym owner John Mese (Rob Corddry) hires him to increase membership and make the gym more fitness-based. Lugo increases the gym's membership by 75% within six weeks and befriends trainer Adrian Doorbal (Anthony Mackie), a bodybuilder who uses steroids, which render him impotent. Lugo soon lusts after the earnings and lifestyle achieved by Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub), a sleazy, new gym member he begins to train who Lugo believes is a crook. Fokko (Wolf) is a teenage boy on his way to the local skatepark when he notices a beautiful Muslim Turkish girl ahead of him. Distracted by her beauty, he runs into a large flower pot and falls, his pants falling around his ankles. Embarrassed, he collects himself. The Turkish girl, Dilara (Kasbergen), hands his phone over to him, which he'd dropped. She continues on, leaving Fokko mesmerized. Later at the skatepark, Fokko and his friends spend time attempting skating stunts. Fokko notices Dilara is present speaking to some men. Fokko's friends tell him to forget her, saying that any chance of romance with her is impossible due to her strict elder brothers not allowing any man near her. Unfazed, Fokko performs a stunt that impresses her. Trying to impress her further, he attempts another stunt that goes awry after his pants fall again. Losing his concentration, he lands hard on the concrete, knocking himself unconscious after his skateboard strikes him on the head.
