Bac Films Distribution est une société de distribution cinématographique française basée à Paris, créé par Jean Labadie, Éric Heumann et Stéphane Sorlat en 1986.

Dès 1988, Vivendi entre dans le capital de la société à hauteur de 10 %, puis 20 %, et permet à la société de procéder à d'ambitieuses acquisitions. La success story débute en 1990 avec Sailor et Lula, Palme d'or au Festival de Cannes. Les sorties de Barton Fink et Tous les matins du monde en 1991, Indochine et Le Zèbre en 1992, La Leçon de piano en 1993 permettront de placer rapidement BAC Films au sommet de la distribution indépendante.

Bac Films entreprend en 1994 une diversification dans l'exploitation cinématographique avec la création de la société Les Écrans de Paris, en association avec Simon Simsi. En 1997, le pôle exploitation de salles est créé sous le nom Majestic, et le groupe se réorganise autour de la holding Alicar : Bac Films (distribution), Majestic (exploitation) et Séance Privée (événementiel). Premier distributeur en 1998, BAC Films créé Mars Films, qui lui permet alors d'assurer la diffusion de ses nombreuses acquisitions.

Le groupe est introduit en bourse en 2000 et prend le nom de Bac Majestic. Il connaît deux ans plus tard une grave crise financière, qui l'oblige à se séparer de sa branche exploitation. En 2003, la société Millimages devient actionnaire majoritaire de BAC Films. Jean Labadie, fondateur du groupe, en sera évincé en 2007. Roch Lener prend alors la direction de la société.

En octobre 2013, la société est à nouveau cédée, David Grumbach en est le nouveau Président.

Le catalogue est constitué aussi bien de titres étrangers que français. BAC films a distribué plus de 420 films depuis sa création, dont 9 ont obtenu la Palme d'or au Festival de Cannes. Le dernier en date est The Square, Palme d'or en 2017.

BAC Films fait partie du syndicat DIRE, qui regroupe plusieurs distributeurs indépendants tels que Diaphana, Pyramide Distribution, Memento Films ou Rezo Films.

This gives Leigh-Ann, her best friend, Jo Lynn (Marisa Coughlan), an aspiring actress, and Luke time to think of a plan to stop Mrs.
