Bazelevs Productions (or Bazelevs Company; Russian: Базелевс) is a Russian production company, named after the Greek title for monarch and rulers of ancient Athens, Macedonia and Sparta: Basileus (Βασιλεύς).
The company was founded by Russo-Kazakh director Timur Bekmambetov. The company has been producing films such as The Irony of Fate 2, Night Watch, Day Watch, Wanted, Chernaya Molnya, Vykrutasy, The Darkest Hour and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
The company was involved in producing the animated film 9, which was nominated for Best Animated Film in 2010 at the Producers Guild of America Awards 2009.
In winter of 2010–2011, the film Trees (Yolki) was the top among other Russian films at the box office over the past three years. In February 2011, the film Vyrkutasy (Lucky Trouble) won the main audience award – "Golden Taiga" which debuted at the festival in Khanty-Mansiysk.
In the summer of 2010 in Moscow, they filmed the Russo-American project The Darkest Hour, in cooperation with 20th Century Fox, New Regency and Summit Entertainment, with Bekmambetov as a producer.
En Californie. Matias O'Brien, amoureux d'Amaya DeSoto, une malentendante, travaille sur la création d'un logiciel qu'il a baptisé Papaya et qui lui permettra de communiquer en langage des signes avec sa bien-aimée sur Skype. Lorsqu'il s'aperçoit que le disque dur est plein, il consulte les dossiers et finit par dénicher d'inquiétants fichiers vidéo cachés qu'il s'empresse de montrer sur Skype à ses amis Serena Lange, Nari Jemisin, Damon Horton, Connor Del Rio alias AJ Jeffcock et la DJ Lexx Putri. Sans le vouloir, tous se retrouvent plongés dans les tréfonds dangereux du Dark web et découvrent rapidement que quelqu'un les observe.

In 1818, Abraham Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) lives in Indiana with his parents, Nancy (Robin McLeavy) and Thomas (Joseph Mawle), who works at a plantation owned by Jack Barts (Marton Csokas). There, Lincoln intervenes when he sees his friend, a young African American boy, William Johnson (Anthony Mackie) being beaten by a slaver. Because of his son's actions, Thomas is fired. That night, Lincoln sees Barts break into his house and attack his mother. Nancy falls ill the following day, and dies shortly afterwards. Thomas tells Lincoln that Barts poisoned her, but asks that he promise not try to avenge her death.
In December 1974, the crew of the cancelled Apollo 18 mission is informed that it will now proceed as a top secret Department of Defense (DoD) mission disguised as a satellite launch. Krash and Chiko wander into a cave, find an old television set, and bring it to the rest of the Kikoriki team. They don't know what it is, but Carlin believes that it shows everything that is happening in the world. Dokko fixes the set and they watch Lucien, a show in which the hero Lucien's archenemy, Dr. Caligari, comes up with a plan to destroy Lucien and take over the world. Unaware that it's only a TV program, the Kikoriki characters build a raft and sail to a distant big city where they believe Lucien lives.

As they approach the airport the plane short circuits due to an electrical storm but regains power. They find their Swedish business partner, Skyler (Joel Kinnaman), has betrayed them and already made a deal with the Russians, using a knockoff application. They go to a nightclub and meet Natalie (Olivia Thirlby), an American, and her Australian friend Anne (Rachel Taylor). The lights go out in the club and everyone heads outside. There, they witness what appears to be an aurora. Balls of light fall from the sky and then fade away. When a policeman investigates he is disintegrated. The invisible entities begin hunting and disintegrating people, sending them into a panic.
Vyacheslav "Slava" Kolotilov (played by Khabensky), a schoolteacher from a sleepy seaside town by the name of "Palchiki" (Little Fingers) comes to conquer Moscow with a draft of his first novel in hand. But instead, quite by accident, he conquers the heart of a beauty named Nadia (played by Jovovich).
