LD Entertainment (originally named Liddell Entertainment) is an independent American film studio, founded in 2006 by Mickey Liddell, which finances, produces, acquires and distributes full-length theatrical motion pictures around the world.

The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, and is run by Mickey Liddell.

LD's most recent work includes In Secret, Albert Nobbs and The Grey.

Some of the films which LD Entertainment has distributed include; Killer Joe, a dark comedy by William Friedkin and starring Matthew McConaughey; Disconnect, starring Jason Bateman and Alexander Skarsgard; the horror film The Collection by Saw writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton; and Black Rock starring Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell and Katie Aselton.

Amongst the films LD Entertainment has acquired or produced are the Academy Award nominated Biutiful, starring Javier Bardem and directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu; I Love You Phillip Morris starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor; Good Hair starring Chris Rock; The Details starring Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Laura Linney and Ray Liotta (acquired by The Weinstein Company); as well as the genre movies, The Haunting Of Molly Hartley and The Collector.

The company expects to produce and release four to six films a year with production budgets of up to $25 million.

In the lower echelons of 1860s Paris, Thérèse Raquin is a sexually repressed beautiful young woman trapped in a loveless marriage to her sickly cousin, Camille, having been forced into it by her domineering aunt, Madame Raquin. Thérèse spends her days confined behind the counter of a small shop and her evenings watching Madame play dominoes with an eclectic group. After she meets her husband's alluring friend Laurent LeClaire, she embarks on an illicit affair that leads to tragic consequences. Camille soon dies during an outing on the lake with Laurent and Therese, which is revealed to be their doing as Laurent physically beat Camille while he was in the water, causing him to drown. Madame Raquin finds it difficult to come to terms with her son's death and is incapacitated by a stroke. To escape being sentenced for murder, Laurent and Therese choose to take their own lives and they drink poison mixed with champagne, dying in front of Madame Raquin.

Jeff and Nealy Lang (Maguire and Banks) are a young Seattle couple. Jeff is a doctor and Nealy owns a small shop. They have a two-year-old son and are looking to lay down some new grass in their backyard. However, since there are worms in the grass as it is laid down, a group of raccoons manage to destroy it on a regular basis. This prompts Jeff to go to great lengths to rid their yard of the raccoons. He decides to order poison online and he applies it to a can of tuna fish. Not long later, Jeff and Nealy's next door neighbor Lila (Linney) comes to Jeff and reports that her cat, Matthew, is missing. He knows nothing of the disappearance, but hopes for the best.

An ambitious, up-and-coming reporter Nina Dunham has much success with her interview with underage video chat-room stripper Kyle. Kyle, a runaway, works in a whole "house" with other chat-room strippers under his boss, Harvey. However, the FBI wants her to reveal his address in order to shut down the whole website that hosts the web-rooms. Since she has paid him in order to make initial contact, she may have broken the law, making the police and her boss put pressure on her to cooperate. Nina wants to save him from the business, yet fears losing his trust in the process. Kyle reluctantly gives her the address, and somehow, Harvey is tipped off and the entire house flees. When Nina discovers this, she follows them to the motel where they're staying, and asks Kyle to leave with her. At first, Kyle is hopeful for the future and willing, but when Nina is hesitant to guarantee him safe haven in her home, he resists. Harvey watches the argument, then slaps Nina. The entire group of chat-room strippers leave and Nina drives away in tears.
