Modern Theaters Ltd was a motion picture movie studio in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India, started by Thiruchengodu Ramalingam Sundaram (aka TRS) in 1935. The studio produced over more than 150 movies until 1982 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Sinhalese and even English of which Tamil movies were the majority.

Ashokan find all truth his goes to Nagamalai estate, and his gives lift to young girl, and she was explodes her belt and Ashokan was gives diary and locker key for Vithya(Sakunthala) her saved ashokan life and admit him hospital. But unfortuneately ashokan was killed by the mysterious gang in hospital. Vithya was gives the things to shankar and both are falls in love. Raju was falls love with cinema actress Rama(Kumari Radha), who also stay the same hotel. Shankar meet Reeta and ask help to her. After a song and a comic encounter with Laxman's daughter Geeta (Manimala), he falls in love with her. He also achieves very good success in convincing Geeta's father into starting the project. During a sight visit for the project, his suitcase gets swapped with a similar suitcase of a co-passenger named Mala (Manorama), which is full of money. For this reason Ramesh is detained in a police lock-up. Also Mala is revealed to be part of a criminal gang. When the gang leader, Jumboo, is not able to kill Mala (because he needs a particular diary from her), he instead arranges a dangerous rowdy named Bijua Pakiri (Manohar)to kill Ramesh within the lock-up.

Escaping from the kingdom, the brother meets with an accident and is saved by a young woman (Pushpalatha) who takes him to her humble home and looks after him. The two fall in love. The young woman who has no knowledge of her lover's identity marries him and he leaves her even before their wedding night. She suffers in silence, and then sets out to find her husband. She undergoes many trials and tribulations and finally reaches the capital of the kingdom where she is shocked to find that the king is none other than her husband! More intrigues follow preventing her from joining her husband. However, the problems are solved and the two live happily thereafter.

A tough jailor's (‘Javert' Seetharaman) kid (‘Baby' Savithiri) is kidnapped by a vengeful murderous prisoner (Veerappa). Another prisoner (Manohar) who has lost his child (‘Master' Sridhar) escapes from the prison. He takes up the task of rescuing the jailor's missing kid. The duty-conscious jailor is only keen on nabbing him. The child is taught music by a pretty teacher (Raja Sulochana) and the song, “Konji konji pesi', becomes the link for the rescue of the child kept prisoner in a building. Unable to locate the child who is held captive, the music teacher goes around the town singing the song. On hearing the song, the child emerges from her hideout and utters the lines outwitting the guards. The child is rescued after a long fight between the two prisoners.

The king of Mullai nadu is dominated by his Raja guru (head priest) (M. N. Nambiar). The guru wants his son Parthiban (S. A. Natarajan) to be appointed as the General of the army. But the king appoints Veera Mohan (MGR) instead. The enraged Parthiban becomes a bandit and starts raiding the country side. He wants to marry the princess Jeevarekha (G. Shakuntala) who is in love with Veera Mohan. Parthiban sends a message to Jeevarekha to meet him secretly. The message is delivered by mistake to the minister's daughter Amudhavalli (Madhuri Devi) and she goes to meet Parthiban. Parthiban and Amudhavalli fall in love. Meanwhile, the king sends his general Veeramohan to capture the bandits plaguing the country side. Veeramohan captures Parthiban and produces him in the royal court. The Raja guru is enraged and tries to get his son off by various means. He demands a trial for his son in front of the Goddess. During the trial, Amudhavalli hides behind the Goddess statue and pronounces Parthiban as innocent. She blames Veeramohan for the banditry. The king believing that the Goddess had spoken releases Parthiban and exiles Veeramohan. Parthiban and Amudhavalli are happily married. But goaded by his father Parthiban wants to take over the kingdom by marrying the princess. He decides to kill Amudhavalli. He tricks her into going with him to a cliff edge and tells her of his intention to kill her. Amudavalli begs him for a chance to worship him by going around him three times before she meets her death. Parthiban grants her last wish. While going around him she pushes him to his death from behind. Shocked by her actions and her husband's betrayal, she confesses her sins and becomes a Buddhist nun. The raja guru is jailed and Veera mohan is reunited with the princess.
